Trump has his finger on the pulse of America. He understands in a way others don’t. All those career government employees just can’t understand why we won’t do as they say.
Peace is that glorious yet very brief period in human history when everyone is busy reloading.

By that time it will be too late. Unlike the Clintons or the Obamas, there is nothing special protecting us from the environment which they are creating.
The ban should be permanent.
OK, so there are some muslims who have no plans to kill infidels. We get it. We are also aware muslims cannot speak out, cannot overtly aid us in defending ourselves from the “radicals” in their midst, for fear of being killed themselves.
The latter condition is the one that requires consequences. Consequences that sadly, but by necessity, must accrue to ALL muslims. We cannot be continued to be asked by our leaders to read minds. The “good” muslim community must be motivated to speak out. We can no longer be asked to apologize for what we are thinking when we encounter a muslim in a mall, or in an airline queue.
Trump’s suggestion that we might consider measures which have consequences to all muslims is common sense. His common-sense proposal FINALLY puts political correctness in its proper place, and exposes the paralysis it has engendered in our leaders. With Islam, PC has become downright dangerous.
We sit and wonder why “good” muslims sit back and do nothing. While consequences may not be deserved by some, there is no other road to travel. Islam must change itself, and it never will until blunt instruments, instead of precision tools are employed.
It is time to change course, to stop apologizing and move forward with measures that may have a punitive flavor, a disregard for “collateral damage”. We cannot possibly be safe from this scourge until we do.

In fact, support for a temporary ban on Muslim immigration far exceeds support for Trump himself. Large majorities support the policy even in states that voted against Trump.
