I bet you had a good time at the rally! Glad you didn’t get mixed up in the mess of the agitators.

He’s on now. Said he had respect for all of them and had some nice things to say about Trump. I haven’t heard him say he was “endorsing” Cruz but he said he was voting for Cruz (perhaps a matter of semantics?)

It will be interesting to see the turnout for Trump in Fort Wayne v.s. what Cruz had:

Crowd for Cruz rally less than expected
For someone just passing by, they might not have even known a presidential candidate was in Downtown Fort Wayne...

“I guess I was just expecting to see some spillover, maybe people waiting to get in,” she said. “It seems to be pretty quiet...”

“I was surprised how few people there were,” Joseph Romary said.

Valerie Reynolds said she was surprised half the room was empty. It holds about 2,250 people.

“I mean it’s a big room,” she said...

Had a great time. Everybody was having fun. BTW - There were as many Women as Men.

I think I was the only one there wearing an NRA Hat. Three people came up said right on and shook my hand.

Met some nice people. While standing in line John and Ken from KFI were there. They interviewed a Lady standing next to me who looked like Sarah Palin. She didn’t appreciate the comment though, not a Fan I guess. She did great answering their questions.

Ken turned toward me Microphone in hand, saw my NRA Hat and walked away. I think I should feel kind of offended.

It was nice to see so many positive thinking people in one place. Black, White, Latino, Old, Young. Even had a group walk by wearing Chinese Americans for Trump Shirts.

Being a former Cruzer, I have come to realize that while Ted is a smart guy (well I thought so before the last week anyway), he cannot get the kind of support Trump enjoys.

Trump might have to attach “Low Energy” to Ted as well and it pains me to say it. Whatever “it” is, Ted just doesn’t have it.

I could be wrong, but I just don’t see this kind of groundswell going his way. It was kind of eye opening to see it in person.

In today’s Politics, perception is everything. Trump labels his opposition and it’s like White on Rice. Crooked Hillary will be a Mantra before you know it.

I also think that the Protestors outside the Venue solidified more Votes for Trump than the actual Rally did.

Another Freeper just used the expression that fits perfectly here, damning with faint praise.

Pence can say he’s going to vote for Cruz and how great Cruz is but by not endorsing him, he’s said it all. Even with the GOP, #NeverTrump donors, and conservative activists on his butt, he just couldn’t do it.

Yes, I thought that was a little odd

I would guess that Pence probably got pressured by the GOPe. In Wisconsin, one week after saying Paul Ryan should be the nominee, Gov. Walker endorsed Cruz. Now after the Wisconsin primary, not so much. I read yesterday that even though Cruz was to choose Wisconsin delegates that did not happen. Walker didn’t honor the primary rules. Wisconsin delegates are bound on the 1st vote but have no loyalty to Cruz. That would make me think the GOPe will pull out all stops between now and the convention to remain in power and name the nominee. And we all know they don’t want Trump or Cruz

If Rand Paul endorses Trump could he be in consideration for VP?

He’s got Donald’s qualifications. Knows way around Congress etc..

It would be an interesting choice for a lot of reasons.
