5200 per year out of 48,000 employees. That's an average of over 9 years. Many employers would kill for an average 9 years from each employee.

Off the top of my head, that’s about 11.5% turnover per year, nationwide.

It would seem that it wouldn’t impact each individual airport that much.

An airport with 200 agents would need to hire one new person about every other week.

That doesn’t seem all that bad to me.

Besides, who’s going to hire those McDonald’s employees without this turnover?

Government employee incompetence and criminality??? Who would have thought? I’m shocked I tell you.

There are dishonest and abusive employees (managers too) in all job sectors.

The TSA consists of imperfect human beings. Government employees are not exempt from the need to be corrected and held accountable, which includes the executive, judicial, and legislative branches of government.
