That was a really sad article. I hate to say it, but he sounds selfish and abusive. Can't blame her for leaving him; she could have had someone who would have made her happy. Or she could have had someone who dragged her through the hell of booze and drugs, sounds like the first could have been.

She was able to adapt to her childhood traumas; he should have gotten help. It does explain a lot with his mother; both had a family history of depression, but his sounds worse. Living a lie that long would have sent me off the deep end. Somehow she kept going.

I feel kind of bad for criticizing, but I sensed something was wrong when I saw how they interacted together. Oh wow she could have made the right man very happy.

Yeah, it’s like they say, you never know what really goes on behind closed doors. Sad for both of them.
