“I guess I was just expecting to see some spillover, maybe people waiting to get in,” she said. “It seems to be pretty quiet...”

“I was surprised how few people there were,” Joseph Romary said.

Valerie Reynolds said she was surprised half the room was empty. It holds about 2,250 people.

“I mean it’s a big room,” she said...

There is a reason the guy has avoided having “rallies” this entire time.

They look bored out of their minds. Probably wondering why they are there.

That is an awesome idea. Invite Ted Cruz to a “townhall meeting” that is actually an intervention by all the other candidates who have dropped out and his family members and his campaign workers telling him he needs to give it up for the good of the party.

Wednesday, Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz
likened opponent Donald Trump to the Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger, arguing he likes to “show up at a football stadium, give some performance and then leave”’

Ok, a couple of points. (1) I bet Ted Cruz couldn’t name 5 Rolling Stones songs and (2) Does Ted go to the rally, set up camp and stay for a few days? Or does he hit the road and go to the next scheduled event?

I think he can’t accept losing.

The guy has obvious real personality flaws.

Some saw it from the beginning. Others took longer to get there, but many have seen it now.

Cruz is young, but I think he should find another career because he is demolishing his political future.

This guy has run the most Gawdawful campaign I have ever seen.

A trainwreck from the outset.

One of the things I most find mentally odd about Cruz is his desire to reenact scenes from movies and bragging about his level of Candy Crush and video games. All kind of childish.

The guy lives in an alternate reality. The acting is something he has used to con people. Probably more people than we know of.

Cruz is a great Senator. All conservatives appreciate his heart and willingness to serve. This is a family fight between brothers . If you attack one of those brothers the other will kick your a$$.

A lawyer friend of mine was impressed with Cruz at a small fund raiser event filled with other lawyers. I know, right ? They all thought he was just so smart, with an answer to every question.

All I could think about as she was telling me this (but refrained from saying to my friend) was the old saw about lawyers, sharks, and weasels having professional courtesy for one another.

America wants a more straightforward approach to government now, not the end product of 535 weasels.

Does anybody actually like a weaselly lawyer EXCEPT other lawyers ? I think that is Cruz’ future — back into private practice — being a weasel paid to outmaneuver other weasels.

EXACTLY what I was thinking looking at these pictures. It is time to bring out mommy Fiorina to the rescue. Look how helpful mother Barbara was for Jeb!

Saw that. Even with Frank’s the obvious plants most of those Hoosiers sounded like they were moving in Trumps direction. I sincerely hope Trump reaches out to these folks in some meaningful way. I agree with your observation about Cruz or Kasich being able to beat HRC- everybody reasons differently, which is why I made the comment about Trump reaching out. Especially after he locks it up.
