Women don’t understand two key issues here: First, that interjection of females into all male units DESTROYS morale among men. Secondly, women need to KNOW that there are A LOT of men who could NOT handle her position, so how could SHE possibly handle it?

My Co A platoon in WW II was headed by a Lt. A captain headed a Company, some 250 men, I think.. still pretty good.
We had a female captain in charge of our Field Artillery School (USAFASFS) Office Basic Course back in 1988. She led a 12 mile ruck march and, when it was over, one guy walked over and picked up her ruck. She had a PILLOW inside. That’s all. I had 70 pounds of sand because I was training for Ranger School.
“This will get guys killed in combat.”
WRONG! None of the “guys” will be killed.
There’s a whole week in every month that a woman is not at her best.
