“Social pressure is like air pressure...you don’t notice it’s there. Rush moves in circles in which nearly everyone is an elite therefore an elitist. They may not be liberal in the sense of Bernie Sanders supporters but the status quo has been of great benefit to them and any challenge to the status quo is targeted for destruction via the usual sneering. Rush likes to pretend he’s the white knight jousting with these people everywhere he goes but one cannot exist for decades in a social circle without being influenced - however subtly - by that social circle.”
