Most of the migrants come from countries where schooling lasts years less than in Germany, said Karl Brenke, a labor and migration expert at the German Institute for Economic Research. Qualifications are difficult to compare. Already, there are 14 people competing for a basic unskilled job, Mr. Brenke said.
He provided figures showing that the number of employable people who are jobless and living on welfare had swelled to 280,000 in December from 116,000 in early 2011. Half are Syrians.
Mr. Brenke said he saw a danger that migrants could remain unemployed for years. Even Mr. Weise admits that employment could prove tough. Seventy percent of asylum applicants in 2015, he said, were under 30. Ten percent could find work within a year, and 50 percent within five years.
Even without accommodating the North Africans, he said, it is already clear that “the refugees are not the work force that the German economy needs.”

They didn’t come to work. They came to invade Europe and they expect to collect welfare payments in the process.

One goes to school where lateness is frowned on. Where submission to the authority figure is absolutely demanded. This is a preparation of sorts. Then - if not to higher education, to work. There are demands in Ontario, and certainly in Michigan, at a minimum or slightly better wage level. Keeping to time, performing the work demanded. The criticisms of the authority. For a person to maintain this for years, demands stamina. Few give working people credit for doing this.
I read a book on vagrancy in England by Philip O'Connor. He said that once a man tastes "freedom" from work and lives " on the road". He rarely gets back to work. In short, the shock to the system of the grind of work is too much. The new immigrants are utterly unprepared for the work ethic. They are like a dead weight on society. Ontario's answer is (One) pay so little it does not beat working. (Two) Have "work fare". Insistence on work fare, which means tasks set out for them to perform.
All in all a depressing situation- for those that toil.
I should clarify the methods are used for ordinary Canadians on social assistance (Welfare)’ Ie: Low monthly payments and compulsory menial tasks (work fare). The new “refugees” get over double the welfare rate and free accommodation for two years.
It is thought that in two years they will fit in perfectly with the rest of we peasants- oops! persons.

There is hardly any coherence in the skill set taught at an Islamic School / Madras and the skill set for a minimal job in a First World economy. Reminds me of the old truism about teaching a pig to sing. However in this case the frustration can lead to suicide belts and other bad things!
