Moving Forward=> DONALD TRUMP Only Needs 43% of Remaining Delegates to Win Nomination
Gateway Pundit ^ | 4/26/2016 | Jim Hoft

After sweeping all five primaries that occurred Tuesday – Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania – Donald Trump has 987 delegates, Cruz has 562 with 622 remaining.

Ted Cruz was mathematically eliminated on Tuesday night.

There are fewer delegates remaining than we originally projected because the delegates in Wyoming, Colorado and North Dakota were allocated in corrupt voter-less elections. But our April 2nd projections for Trump and Cruz were very, very close.

Trump was awarded another 40 Pennsylvania delegates on Wednesday which brings his total to 987.

Donald Trump only needs 250 more delegates to secure the Republican nomination.

He didn’t ‘divide’ the party, what Trump has done is open the curtains on our corrupt government and let us see what is going on, and it’s not pretty...

How you get ‘divide’ is beyond me, you must not be listening to what Trump has been saying and showing us for almost the past year...

Has any other candidate done this? NO, because all the other candidates are on the ‘gravy train’ and putting your money in their pockets...

I think I believe in the truth of the trump train, now that Rubio came out and said that he would support the nominee regardless even if it is Trump, this is the end game from what I see.

Every time I see Trump speak, or answer questions, he’s so at ease.

Great clip.

If Cruz doesn’t win IN, all the Cruz states will go Trump because people like to go with the winner and there’s no point in throwing away votes on a guy who can’t win.

If Cruz is beaten in IN Tuesday, he will drop out, ensuring Trump wraps up the nomination.

He was already mathematically eliminated Tuesday night.

I have maintained all along that Trump will have to win 50% in some election in order to win the Republican nomination.

If he gets 50% of the primary votes, he is going to get to 1237, no matter what.

If he can string together a series of 50%+ wins in a bunch of primary states, particularly as the process moves into the final months, he will get to 1237.

If he can’t get to 1237 through the primary process, then he would have to get to 1237 at the convention. This has always been the most problematic of the three for Trump, since he is such a party outsider. It is my opinion that if Trump is not at 1237 on the first ballot, he will not get there on any subsequent ballot.

So for Trump to win the nomination, he has to start stringing together a series of 50%+ victories in the primaries. Since New York, he has been doing just that. If this trend continues, he will go into Cleveland with 1237 delegates, he will be the Republican nominee, and I will support him.

Trump was not my first choice. But if he is the choice of the Republican Party, then he is my guy.

Of course, I would vote for a dead dog in the street before I cast a vote for Hillary Clinton.

Yes, not if but when Cruz loses IN I am hoping that people in these other states wake up and smell the coffee.

I do not expect Cruz to ever quit the race. I truly believe the man is completely insane. I think he’s already had a major mental breakdown.

And then you could be wrong and Trump comes through with the 1396!

I also suspect that Team Trump will try to secure the support of as many of the unbound delegates before the convention, so that he can get 1500 on the first ballot.

True. If Trump foes into the convention with more than 1237 which I am sure he will he would most likely add another 200 delegates.
