Disagree. Differentiate between the registration process and actual drafting, should it ever come to that. There are plenty of roles women can fill that would free up the male draftee for combat service.

Let there be equality across the land (be careful what you ask for, you just might get it). And if this drives a stake through the heart of maintaining a woefully out-of-date list of males at a cost of millions, so be it. And get those stupid PSAs off the airwaves!

Why register if you are not going to draft? Men and women are different; they are not just physically weaker men. It is time that we stop this nonsense of pretending otherwise. For the good of both society and of the family, we need to again appreciate the unique role of women, as women. Much of the problems in society today are the direct result of driving women away from their proper roles. Men must also unabashedly reclaim their role to provide for and protect women.
