If Jeff Sessions were from a swing state, he’d be almost automatic...as it is, he’s still strong.
Trump is gonna' have to do something to clean up the sewer the US Senate has become (it isn't the only one). How does he do it without Jeff Sessions in the US Senate?
Keep in mind that there will probably be a lot of transition and a Democratic majority. Someone's going to have to bring the new ones into a Trump coalition.
Why is the loss of the US Senate an almost sure thing? A lot of the most disgusting backstabbers are up for election. I doubt voters are going to give them another chance. Add to that, a very vindictive, unhinged, and possibly deranged Ted Cruz will still be there.
sessions knows who is on the short list for veep. probably helped build it.
