So, you are going to reject a candidate, Trump, that:

A. Is a natural born citizen

B. Will protect the 2nd Amendment

C. Will repeal and replace Obamacare

D. Build a wall at the southern border to stop the flow of illegals and drugs from Mexico

E. Stop the flow of Muslim “refugees” into our country

F. Bring fiscal sanity back to government

G. Fix our horrible trade deals

H. Get our vets the care they need and deserve

I. Put America first in foreign affairs

J. Rebuild our military

in favor of what, not voting at all?

Put your head in the sand in the most important election of your lifetime since 1980?

I’m not buying your pity party, Neil.

You want to be a sunshine patriot, then opus out and be up front about it.

But don’t give us that line about I have no candidate so I will pick none of the above.

I'm a Trump supporter. And yes, If Ted Cruz by some earth-shaking miracle was to end up the nominee, I would vote for him.

Boy would that be a wasted vote.

“I don’t understand the crude raving anger towards Cruz from Trump supporters.”

Then you haven’t been paying attention these last nine months.

Many (if not most) of us Trumpsters were Cruzers, early on. Unfortunately for Ted, many honest conservative voters are not so in thrall to any candidate, that we’re incapable of vetting our candidates on the fly, and re-adjusting our support according to new and previously unknown facts and observations about those who seek our votes.

Ted was welcomed with open arms by most conservatives when he entered the race. We would have followed wherever he led, had he proven himself to be a real leader, and had said and done the sort of things conservatives look for, throughout this race.

But he didn’t. Ted made far too many errors in the areas that really count. I’m talking areas that show a person’s character. You can’t fake that sort of thing, and I’m afraid Ted failed the test too many times for many of us.

Frankly I have been disappointed with every candidate and every election since 92. If Trump does 10% of what he promises, its better than anyone else has done.

So you are telling me that if an American women went to Britain in 1790 and had a son sired by King George the founders would have considered the child a natural born citizen of the USA? Ridicules.

Your post needed to be repeated because it is so spot on and reflects exactly what I have seen as well:

Trump is more of a conservative than that fraud Cruz is.

Cruz is an insider, and has deceived so many people into thinking he is some kind of principled Christian Constitutionalist conservative.

He is none of those things.

You have bought the circus act hook, line and sinker.

His pick of Carly Fiorina yesterday as his VP reeks of manipulation and deceit, just like the rest of his campaign.

How many of your “principles” does Cruz require you to surrender to swallow that pick?

Open your eyes.

At least Trump cares about America, far more than Cruz ever has.

He’s a globalist, and that is why he “chose” Fiorina, another globalist, doing the bidding of his GOP-E masters.

You want truth—there it is—unvarnished and real.

If Crux had any principles, he would have suspended his campaign and united behind the frontrunner in order ot unite the party and to fight the enemy, the Dems.

But no—his ego and his naked ambition will not allow him to do so.

Your money line describes Cruz to a “T”.

Cruz is a fraud that has so many people hooked in because "they want to believe!"

Frankly, I find your comments offensive (i.e. "open wide, and suck it down"). I, for one, won't miss you when you're gone. I've also been a FReeper more more that 17 years, and what I find most repulsive is that you are not really attacking Trump, but those of us who feel that in 2016 he is, by far, the best choice for President.

You have given yourself far too much credit and attention. As a veteran, I find you weak and were we serving together, I would ask you to go to the rear. Your comments show me you are not worthy or able to man the front lines.

Over and out!

Well Neil did go for a Libby-like title: in honor of her “Trumpees” title, he did “Trumpsters”.

But yeah, no other Cruznadian has topped Libby’s opus.

Then nothing will have changed will it? In short it can only go up from here as far as expectation.

I can’t answer for the OP...but I will say this.

I hesitate to post because it’s so combative.

Just because one doesn’t does not mean they are disconnected from the forum.

“GOOD of P-Marlowe to facilitate the banned to another site and to keep track of the zotted.”

It’s an in-your-face dare, and pretty unbecoming of a long term member.

Trump sure has a knack for forcing the scum to the surface.

I took a 6 month self imposed hiatus last election because of Romney. I didn’t even check in.

Newsflash....the country doesn’t want a conservative. We’re outnumbered by the takers, and Cruz’ “message/sermon” is not what they want to hear, sadly. You definitely need to get out more, lol.
