Will GOP candidate(Cruz) go from H-1B supporter to visa critic to...? (Fiorina Huge H1B Supporter)

Cruz's decision Wednesday to add former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina (and one-time GOP presidential candidate herself) as his running mate if he wins the nomination, may make his newly found H-1B beliefs a hard sell.

At HP, Fiorina was a prominent supporter of the offshore outsourcing model, said Ron Hira, an associate professor of public policy at Howard University, who wrote about Fiorina's approaches in his book, Outsourcing America.

"To pump up profits, she was an early adopter of the practice, which given HP's status as a leading Silicon Valley firm, pushed other firms to adopt offshoring," said Hira. "It set a precedent that technology firms would now pursue profits through offshoring and that meant that Wall Street would hound executives in other firms to do the same."

As offshoring gained, Fiorina played a leading role in defending globalization.

To make her point, in 2004, Fiorina said: "There is no job that is America's God-given right anymore," reported the San Francisco Chronicle.

When Ingraham brought up Disney's layoff of 200 to 300 IT employees last year, some of whom had to train their visa-hold replacements, Fiorina said "shame on them (Disney) -- we should never support that kind of policy."

No, his destiny was what it is, from the beginning...as long as he wore many masks, lied by both omission and commission, had his background papers sealed shut...he was “safe”; nobody knew him, but he looked good on paper. The more those masks fell, they more he talked, the more people got to see just what and who is he REALLY is, he doomed himself to just being an ambulance chaser the rest of his life.
He us the Dickensonian URIAH HEEP and the Shakespearian IAGO of the 21rst century!

Wow I agree! You get a well deserved A+ on your analysis!!

Carly is a huge supporter of expanding the number of H1B visas for foreigners to take U.S. jobs. Cruz has certainly met his soul mate.

Incidentally, while married, Carly met an HP executive who promised her she'd be CEO in three years. Wonder what he got for that (very reminiscent of Cruz's securing a woman for Levin, or Megyn Kelly reaching the top by sleeping with Britt Hume.)...(These people have no morals whatsoever?) Three years later she married the HP executive who had made her the quid pro quo bargain, you get CEO, I get you. Philanderers are attracted to each other, like Cruz and Carly? And despite an order from the FEC for an explanation of Cruz's superpac's "expenditure" of a cool one half million dollars to Carly in June---Cruz, in eerie similarity of her majesty Hillary---somehow skates by without responding to the FEC (same as the Goldman Sachs "loan"---FEC also demanded more info which Cruz has not provided just as he did not even include the payment in his original filling---he just FORGOT about THAT million dollars. Ohhh, you mean THAT million...)

Carly's globalist credentials are impeccable. Certainly equal to or exceeding that pristing globalist resume of Heidi Cruz.

The idea that someone would nominate for VP a person who'd been a world-class, world renown failure---on everyone's top ten list of disastrous business failures---is mind boggling.

The number of jobs lost during her tenure at HP (I'm not even counting Lucent) is confusing, convoluted---each view of it and you keep getting a higher number.

Maggie Thatcher, Sarah Palin---don't insult us with charges of misogyny in a case so clear cut as Fiorino's. We have many female heroines of enormous competence and achievement. Carly disgraces their status and memory.

I agree his flaw is ego...He does not talk to voters—he preaches and lectures. Sad, he could have been a Supreme Court judge—or even Veep if he had not let his ego get in the way and make it personal.

It's amazing how this process reveals the character of the candidates. I had thought Cruz was posturing so he could get the best deal within a Trump administration. Now he's political nuclear waste.

Kasich too, that weird I'm going to eat my pancakes while I have a press conference was the craziest thing I've ever seen.

Nomination in the first round is 1237. Trump did very good, but he does not have 1237 yet.

Cruz is flailing by trying to get the “I got a woman on my team” panderfest moving - two boneheaded moves in as many weeks - he’s so toasted that he doesn’t seem to realize that he’s toast.

LOL! I might start using that "enhancement" to some of the words that end with "ted" - I'm sure it drives the "follow him into the ground" types nuts....

Fiorina is also pro-life with the three exceptions...rape, incest, “health” of the mother.

What I'm trying to say is that she's in conflict with Cruz AND the party platform.

The party echelon crucified Trump on the exceptions.

Cruz couldn't have picked a worse candidate.

Kasich likely thinks Cruz is a nut case by now.

CARLY ALERT!!! Birds of Feather? Cheap Labor & Common Core
=======CARLY ALERT!

Earlier today I read about a Craig Barrett who held a private fundraiser for Fiorina on Sept. 10th in Arizona. He is the chief Common Core pusher in AZ and Board member/ Chairman of Achieve Inc., the Common Core standards architects.

But I just found that this guy Barrett also heads Intel and the push for more foreign workers. The fundraiser featured Former US Sen. Jon Kyl...who in 2007 with Ted Kennedy and McCain was one of the senators to write Bush’s amnesty. Carly is in bed with the enemy!

Link to fundraiser: http://archives.mcrcbriefs.org/2015/08/8-30-15-briefs.html

The largest donation to the Fiorina super PAC — close to $1.6 million — came from Jerry Perenchio, the former CEO of Univision and national finance co-chairman for John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign with deep ties to California.” http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/31/politics/carly-fiorina-super-pac/

A couple years ago, TTC told you that CARLY also did her share of hispandering during her failed California Senate run. She is tied up with PRO Amnesty lobbyists, like Grover Norquist.

[snip] Fiorina is a MCCAIN GIRL!
Latinos Launch 42-City Bus Campaign to Get Out the Vote for Fiorina
WASHINGTON, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Today the Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles, a leading voice on Latino....

This is a PRO AMNESTY group....do not be fooled. It’s chocked full of the MOST pro amnesty gop hacks known!
The group is against same sex marrige....so what??? If we amnesty 20 plus million illegal aliens there won’t be a country left to fix that problem. It’s a hook to fool social conservatives!! The GOP is becoming a master at that!

SO, THERE is your ‘McCAin/Arizona branch of the Amnesty/Cheap Labor Cartel.
And here is the Grover Norquist/Rove/Bush branch of the same!

AND THIS!!

“At which point Fiorina, then a campaign surrogate for presumptive GOP nominee John McCain, offered some unprompted praise for Clinton: If Fiorina hadn’t been backing McCain, she told me, she would have been for Clinton.
“That’s off the record,” Fiorina immediately added.”

I grew up in Indiana and most of family still lives there. Bob Knight will bring lots of votes to Trump. Knight is I-Con in Indiana and yes it was big for Trump to get Knight endorsement. And Cruz & Curley all for HB1 workers who take US Citizens Jobs big time.
