Back in the early ‘80s, there was a local radio DJ who did a humorous commentary segment every morning. One thing he talked about almost every day was “Six Flags Over Fuquay”, which of course didn’t exist. But it was part of his shtick. Back then, Fuquay-Varina wasn’t much more than a spot in the road but it had become a bedroom community and had grown by the time I left Raleigh in ‘93. It’s probably even larger now.

He also talked about Lizard Lick and I thought that was fake, too, for a long time. Then I found out there really WAS a Lizard Lick - - basically a crossroads east of Raleigh.

Downtown Fuquay is OK but the toll road to RTP is right there.

Thats where your Cisco is living.
