I am lucky sometimes. I have jobs that take me onto the Blue Ridge into Cherokee and others that may take to the Outer Banks. (OBX, for those wondering what that meant)
Aaaaaaah, the Outer Banks. Just love them. I didn’t get to go there as often as I’d have liked but did get there several times.
That was a good thing about living in Raleigh. A couple of hours east and I was at the beach. A couple of hours west and I was in the mountains.
I’m close to mountains here but the beach is a loooooooong way off. :-(
