I am suspicious of a Biden scenario. Thus, Hillary is left in the primaries long enough to make sure that Bernie can’t win on the first ballot. Biden would be a very popular alternative and probably the worst case for the Republicans.
Of course Biden cannot win on first ballot. He has no delegates. Bernie will not have enough. But Biden could take a 2nd ballot.
