The majority of the Democratic Party does not believe there is an ongoing FBI criminal investigation regarding Hillary Clinton’s emails. They believe, as the former Secretary of State has told them, that your work is merely a “security review,” or as one Democratic strategist call it, “another BS scandal.” Your work, thus far, has been relegated to yet another “witch hunt.” In fact, Clinton and her campaign have managed to convince millions that former secretaries of state did the same thing, which of course isn’t true.
Also, an interesting brand of logic has been used to rationalize ignoring your email investigation. While the number of agents working on this case is said to have been around 100, some voters have actually taken solace in the fact recent reports only list dozens. Only a dozen FBI agents, say loyal supporters, isn’t that big of a deal.
Since your investigation has taken so long, many people believe that nothing has been found, or simply that Clinton is too powerful to face any serious repercussions. Any attempt to warn people that Hillary Clinton could realistically face criminal indictments is either viewed as a Republican scare tactic, or lunacy. Even many Bernie Sanders supporters, a group that would benefit the most from the FBI recommending indictment of Clinton, feel it’s either disloyal, or pointless to bring up the email controversy. The massive group think within the Democratic Party, fostered by years of circumventing political scandals, has literally altered the mindset of normally rational individuals, and voters.

Yes, that's the plausible scenario, and (don't know if you read my over-long comment #1) that's what I think is a likely explanation for the delay.
And, it might not just be agents leaking. Comey can certainly announce his findings and recommendation for indictment to the Press. He's got his big boy pants, and amazingly he was Fitzpatrick's sponsor in the ridiculous Plame investigation about nothing. And, even so, they got their indictment and conviction in that case
On December 30, 2003, three months after the start of the Plame investigation, Fitzgerald was appointed Special Counsel (under Department of Justice regulation 28 CFR Part 600). Through this, Fitzgerald was delegated "all the authority of the Attorney General" in the matter. In February 2004, Acting Attorney General Comey clarified the delegated authority and stated that Fitzgerald has plenary authority. Comey also wrote "further, my conferral on you of the title of 'Special Counsel' in this matter should not be misunderstood to suggest that your position and authorities are defined and limited by 28 CFR Part 600."[22]
It’s more likely that Comey is as compromised as everyone who works for Obama.
I agree and if Comey is Professional,as I belive he is he will call for Indicting Clinton if that is where the evidence leads.
It will make no difference to Comey as far as his recommendation despite his feelings regarding the actions of the AG.

The FBI won’t do it. I waited 25 years to see the Clintons get theirs. They only became more rich and powerful. But, the deal that they made with Satan was a bad bargain....for them.

You are right: There is absolutely no way the Obama DOJ will indict Hillary Clinton. An indictment against her reflects on Obama himself, and if there is anyone or anything Obama loves above all else, it is himself.
They are fearful, just like many. Fearful of losing their jobs, fearful of losing their homes, fearful of actual violence against them or their loved ones (and they would know). Fearful of blackmail. Fearful of having "evidence" planted against them. Fearful of losing their retirement. Fearful of losing their health insurance.
Why have military Generals and Admirals who should know better capitulated to PC tyranny?
