Whatever happened to Paxon? Is he still married to Susan?

Apparently, he is still married to Susan but she had been divorced from a previous husband named Lucchesi when she married Paxon.

Paxon was chair of the Republican Leadership Conference when he conspired with John Boehner and other sniveling buttoned down weasels to replace Gingrich as Speaker with Dick Armey (who did not consent to the scheme) and move Tom Delay up to Majority Leader (I suspect but do not know that Delay did not consent either). Dick Armey tipped off Gingrich as to this scheme.

Apparently Paxon and the others changed the scheme to replace Armey as the putative Speaker with GOP-E Robert Livingston of New Orleans (a descendant of THE Revolutionary War era New York Livingstons) but a funny thing happened. Livingston was demonstrated to have a wandering eye and other body part himself. He resigned from Congress promptly in disgrace. If only we had known of Hastert's perverted "preferences," we might have been spared that embarrassment. If only we had a better grasp of Boehner's manifest shortcomings and Ryano's then.....

An excuse for dumping Gingrich was that he had championed the impeachment of Billy Jeff, inter alia, for his track record of lying under oath and otherwise about his Hall of Fame status as the Babe Ruth/Ty Cobb of adulterers.

Those more inclined to be toadies for the Wall Street, K Street, US Chamber of Crony Commerce types and to take the care and feeding of Muffy's Trust Fund as more important by far than anything and everything else and were appalled by Gingrich's attention to anything else and general populism, organized the palace coup against Gingrich on the public excuse that he too was an adulterer and, well, tut, tut!

In this way the whores and big business slaves could restore the disgusting heritage of big business interest toadyism (and support of unconstitutional central government empowerment) dating from the discredited Federalists, through the discredited Whigs, through Abraham Lincoln (one-time servant of Henry Clay and the Whigs and the railroad interests, among others), and "mugwump" and "moderate" and "Modern" "Republicans" thereafter until Reagan was elected in spite of and in defiance of their confident lie that he would be wiped out a la Goldwater (the central myth of "moderate""Republicans").

Reagan was no longer eligible or available to thwart their plans to the extent that he sometimes did or show them up (gently but effectively) as the political ignorami that they have always been. Gingrich who had once been a Rockefeller "Republican" but had been convinced by ideas and Reagan's success irresistibly commanded a populist takeover of the House GOP caucus, dumping spineless Robert Michel, taking control of the House itself for the first time in forty years. The phonies: Livingston, Hastert, Susan Molinari, Bill Paxon, John Boehner (Paxon's fellow ring leader of the coup), and others posed for holy pictures to deliver us from the "embarrassment" of a populist Gingrich (and actually to deliver for the ever-entitled corrupt business interests) were mostly out of Congress in very short order (I suspect that most of their demises were orchestrated by Gingrich in exile as payback. He missed on Hastert, Boehner and some others.

What happened to Paxon? The whore Paxon who, additionally had been elected as immediate successor to Jack Kemp in Congress (probably the single outstanding Member of Congress in his time) shamed his Buffalo area district by his actions against Gingrich. When Paxon had to pay the price of his Congressional seat for his perfidy, he moved to the DC suburbs of Virginia with his wife Susan Molinari and their two children and became a partner in a DC mega (corporate) law firm and a major K Street "lobbyist" for all the usual suspects. They DO take care of their own.
