The first headlines had it on a supervised home basis. What happened?

Who knows how often the Dems used this to blackmail him over the years? Of course, if he’d only switched parties, he’d be considered a hero like Gerry Studds.

This guy was picked by the GOPe probably because he was subject to blackmail that they could use to control him. The voters had little to say about this guy outside his district, yet we are the dummies.

But one example that helps explain why Republicans are so damned willing to go along with every item in the Democrat/socialist/progressive agenda; “You wouldn’t want that little matter with (fill in the blank) to make it into the press, now would you...?”

I wonder if the same people who have an issue with transgenders using the wrong restroom would have an issue if they saw this sick f—k using a urinal next to their son.

THIS is the story:

He was a HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER, entered the House, and in a few years he could pay $3.5 MILLION in hush money.

Has anyone seen media ask that question?

Reminds me of Algore Sr. A teacher in a ONE ROOM SCHOOLHOUSE, went to Congress, and soon ran the most important oil company in the world.

Does anyone really need to ask why Cruz is finished and Trump is ascendant?

It should have been 15 YEARS!

Interesting they had to get him on wire fraud instead of molestation charges. Must have been statute of limitations.

Someone should ask Hillary what she thinks about Hastert and if Bill Clinton should be similarly prosecuted for raping Juanita Broaderick, molesting Kathleen Willey etc...

U.S. District Judge Thomas Durkin is the judge in this case.

On May 21, 2012, President Obama nominated Durkin to be a United States District Judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

That this GOPe scion is sentenced for this at this time is propitious. I believe that probably 90 percent of the top establishment figures in Congress have something really bad they are hiding. Obama used it. Clinton used it back in the day. Trump needs to understand this and get someone on his side who can give him the inside dirt. The democrats will no longer be the only ones with leverage over Republicans. He can quietly approach a John Roberts or a McConnell, and tell them, “Look, I know why you don’t fight the democrats. We can’t have a compromised person in your position any more. Leave quietly, and you can remain a big shot, maybe make a lot of money lobbying. Refuse, and it might get ugly.”

Who’s going to push that wheel chair up the ramp to hell?

This pervert, like Michel before him, is responsible for nothing being contested as the Democrats poked him in his cushy chest and said, ‘Just do it, Dumbo!’

He lifted the carpet while the Dems shoved the dirt under it.

What they had on him, as well as Michel, was probably the reason they kow-towed to the ‘opposition’.

This asshat should have been sentenced to prison for the rest of his unnatural life!

That biblical line, “Be sure your sins will find you out,” proved true for Mr. Hastert, long after he thought that he had hidden away the evidence. He probably wrote the law about withdrawing excess funds from one’s own account but must have gotten lax in his cover-up.
