Done! I’m 36 with three kids seven and under. My final diagnosis (it took seven months!) was epithelial sarcoma, but that was after telling several very good docs no. Get second, third, and even fourth opinions. Insist that your slides are sent to multiple facilities. Don’t accept the first pathologist’s diagnosis. Be your own advocate. If a doc doesn’t want to send out your slides, find another doc. I pray this isn’t the case, but if it is, you can handle it.

Thanks for the advice. I would never think of that.

(Although it sort of happened to me already - had a giant tumor in my gut that was removed. They assumed it was cancer, and the initial pathology said it was. Went for a 2nd opinion - by order from my prime - from Hopkins doc who flabbergasted us by stating that the tumor wasn’t cancer - they had looked at it again “unfrozen” or such.)

While some of the facts are WRONG Joey Feek’s Cancer Journey should remind us not to take these things lightly. http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/joey-feek-peace-end-terminal-cancer-battle/story?id=35235082

What started as Cervical Cancer, successfully treated, a few months later from the SAME STRAIN turned to a 9 MM Sigmoid Stage 4 Colon Cancer. Surgery, treatment, before the radiation part of the treatment a CT was done and more tumors found, the Feek’s were told there were no more medical options. They came home to Pottsville, TN to their farm and concert hall. Finished their last album a Gospel one, and then they went to Alexandria, IN where Joey began the Hospice end journey. She leaves behind a 2 year old Down’s daughter Indiana Boone Feek, her husband and his two older daughters.

DIL ignored change in 1 nipple, it looked like a red cauliflower compared to the normal one. Stage 4 BC, walnut size tumor, that could not be missed if you were doing your monthly exams. Took getting kicked by a nursing home patient in the breast to bring it to light, she was a CNA. She survived.

I have had Fibrocystic Breast Disease and had to learn the difference in what I was feeling, as there are lumps, but the FBC ones are not hard and they don’t move. Those are cancer ones. Word to you men don’t ignore what you see in the females in your life and your own as men develop BC too, many from certain prescriptions. DO NOT use Lavender scents on MALES increases BC risk.
