BREAKING: Ted Cruz Gets SCHLONGED in Epic Fashion – Gets Destroyed in 5 States
TruthFeed ^ | April 27, 2016 | Amy Moreno

Posted on 04/26/2016 8:14:03 PM PDT by BlackFemaleArmyColonel

In what many are calling “The End” for Ted Cruz’s presidential bid, Donald Trump ran away with the North East, sweeping PA, CT, RI, MD, and DE in epic Trump-fashion.

It will become increasingly difficult for an already mathematically eliminated Ted Cruz to continue to justify staying in a race after this monumental shellacking.

Ted has defended his odd decision to stay in the race by claiming that Trump has no path to 1237. After tonight’s humiliating defeat will anyone seriously buy what Ted’s trying to sell?

The choices currently in the GOP race are Cruz, Kasich or Trump. There is no 100% perfect guy running this time and there never has been one in the past. I choose Trump out of the choices given, by a long shot.

I do not know or care how politicians consider themselves. I was giving you my opinion.

Duly noted! I -might- vote Libertarian, but I disagree with them on a couple of important issues, so I MIGHT end up just being a down-ticket sort of person this time around. I know I shan’t vote Democrat. At this point, the real question is whether or not Trump can win me over for the general, I suppose.

Frankly, you are having flights of fantasy. That’s all you’re having.

Bush was supposed to be the great Conservative savior. Was he?

The guy watched our nation practically crater on his watch.

Guess whose administration Cruz worked for.

We never know what a guy will do. Trump is saying he’ll do what we want. Until he is elected, we’ll never know.

I didn’t and don’t trust Tead any farther than I can drop kick him.

He has flat ass lied over and over and over and over...

I wouldn’t vote him onto my school board.

Are you hearing any of this?

What are the ‘flights of fantasy’ to which you refer, in particular?

That Trump will not live up to his platform.

You don’t know that.

So what you are doing is living out a fantasy.

Did you do that with Ted too?

It is certainly true that none of us know whether or not Trump will live up to his promises. None of us. So we can only go with our instincts.

My instincts tell me Trump is a deal-maker. Once he’s sealed the deal with us, who will he start sealing deals with in Washington? I don’t know, you don’t know, none of us do!

But even if he did everything he’s promised, I’m not on board with all his promises. I want to hear some promises on things -I- can get behind a little more.

Has Trump said what cabinet departments or agencies he’d like to downsize or eliminate? I’d be interested in knowing more about that.

I don’t think his tax cut proposals are aggressive enough at taking down the tax rates, but then, he WOULD be far better than Hillary or Sanders.

His trade proposals worry me a lot.

So he’s still a mixed bag for me. I -get- that you can’t have everything in a candidate, but I want to hear a little more about government downsizing from him, and less about government solutions. Then I’d be more comfortable voting for him.

Actually, here’s another question for the Trumpsters out there... do any of you know if he’s made any statement on corporate taxes?

His website talks a lot about personal income taxes, death taxes, etc ... but searching his site and a brief internet search doesn’t give any real information on his plans for the corporate tax rate.

Has Mr. Trump made any statements on it? I am genuinely curious.

Just had to leave the Michael Berry fan FB page also had some nuts harassing me after having a conversation re Trump. They kept tagging me...The freaks are out TONIGHT!

I have just looked at some of your past replies.

As a rabid Cruz supporter, you are a LIAR, claiming now, that you have no candidate. You are also a hypocrite, a pseudo-intellectual, a wannabe, who though intellectually inferior, pretends to be everyone else's superior, and though you through out all kind of high falutin' garbage, which you truly do not really understand, believe that you and ONLY you know what's what re business, jobs, and others' predilections and reactions to various different stimuli.

You aren't in some college dorm, kid, trying to impress others by throwing out terms such as "mercantilism", which you don't really understand. And David Hume...REALLY? LOL

Shall we also have to read through your childish, misunderstatements about Rousseau, too, one day?

Why not a discussion of Montaigne's essays, whilst we're at it ?

Frankly diddums, you ran into a brick wall...ME, who is neither impressed by your previous posts, nor your ennui inducing insufferable stupidity and insults, nor your egomanically driven babble.

Now go sit in a corner and cry!

“Has Trump said what cabinet departments or agencies he’d like to downsize or eliminate?”

I don’t think that’s a great winning strategy right now. Ted wants to eliminate 5 Departments and 25 agencies. That all sounds great in a primary until you try to win the state of VA in a general election. My guess is if Ted won the primary he would reverse himself pretty quickly.

“I don’t think his tax cut proposals are aggressive enough”

I don’t think it could be any more aggressive..https://www.donaldjtrump.com/positions/tax-reform

Truth is Trump and Cruz line up on 80% or more of their positions

I -am- a Cruz supporter. Points to you for reading! But I’m not a liar ... I have no candidate in November for whom I’m comfortable voting... unless you’re suggesting Cruz is actually going to be the GOP nominee in November ;)

Please cite where I have insulted you this evening, since you’re so certain I have. ;)

Just give it up!

You're talking out of your arse!

His tax plans are great, so are his business ideas. For someone who is all in for Cruz, for NO good reason, since his plans were either purloined and then messed with or handed to him and NONE of them workable, You are just lying and whinging.

Yes, 25/15/10/0 is still too steep for me, I’d prefer a flat tax on all income above the poverty line. And he hasn’t said a lot about corporate taxes, where I believe the real ‘rubber meets the road’ regarding actual economic stimulus. I’m hoping someone out there knows where he might have issued a statement on it.

Now, now... don’t be jealous just because DoughtyOne and I have started having the beginnings of a real discussion and you’re still stuck in RageTown.

Maybe YOU could be the one who points me toward something your candidate has said about the corporate tax rate. I’d be interested to know what his position is :P
