Insurance companies would not be allowed to discriminate against transgender patients under a bill passed by the Hawaii Legislature.
The bill passed Tuesday by the House of Representatives prohibits denying, canceling or limiting coverage based on a person’s gender identity. The bill was already passed by the Senate, so it now goes to Gov. David Ige.
Kaleo Ramos, a transgender teacher, says people in Hawaii have been denied coverage for things like mammograms or screenings for prostate cancer because of the gender on their driver’s license. …

I do not understand what this bill does. Does it require mammograms for a so-called “transgendered woman” (actually a guy) who does not have breasts, or does it mean that for medical care they must return to reality of their actual sex rather than follow a make believe “gender” written on their driver’s license?
Are these women really demanding screening for prostate cancer?
Ramos makes my point... you cant change gender. I man, dressed as a woman, identifies as a woman, but has a drivers license of man, is still a man. If transgenders existed, then one would change genders, but no one can change genders. A man dressed as a woman is only a transvestite and still needs to have his prostate checked.
Then they get butthurt when logic kicks in when they are denied and told the request is insane? I live Hawaii and this is the first I have heard of this insanity.
Wait until one has to get the prostate removed!!!

Men get breast cancer too. I don’t know how they would do the mammogram would work but women who are very small breasted get them.
Does the bill prevent men with big floppy tits from running around topless?
