I'm FReeping from my son's house this morning, as he and his Mom are in Hawaii and I'm house and dog sitting.
Back to more typical Spring temps for us and sunny skies.
My place is a couple of miles away so I'll be going back and forth this week taking care of the pooches. (2 Shih Tzus).
So, you're getting some writing in, that's good. How's the new heat pump working out?
A few shopping errands for me today and that's about it!

I hope you have your electronic equipment plugged into surge protectors. Having those storms is scary enough without blowing you equipment up.

Oh my, lucky son and his mom for being able to go to Hawaii. And, good of you to dog sit for them while they are gone. I need to find me someone, again, who will come to my house. I have some family members who are at “death’s door” and at least one in NC will require I be gone overnight, if not longer. Hubby never knows how long his day will be and I don’t want to leave pup in crate too long.

I think this heat pump is such a good thing. The guys set it up on auto, so it’ll do its own thing without our help, and it’ll kick over to our oil backup when outside temps dip below a set temp. It’s super quiet (I had to look at screen to see it say “cooling”) and yesterday when it got over my set time (it was in the 80s outside) and I bumped it down a notch to cool and it cooled fast. Vast improvement of the old system.
Yup, finally got to do some writing. Going to do a little today, too.

We actually do have equipment plugged in to them. Thankfully we’ve had no problems in that regard but you never know.
