Democrats Worried as Union Members Support for Trump Tops Support for Hillary and Bernie Combined

“While most of Trump’s support comes from the staunch Republican base, one in four Democrats who chose a candidate showed a preference for Trump,” said Working America’s report.

The majority of respondents said they supported the candidate because of his pugnacious personality rather than for, say, his position on trade.

On Tuesday, Jared Szczesny, a card-carrying member of the United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America Union (UAW), will cast his vote for Trump in Pennsylvania’s primary. In 2008 and 2012, UAW endorsed President Obama. This time UAW has yet to endorse a candidate, but is likely to back a Democrat.

Szczesny, 31, has never attended a Trump rally. He works seven days a week and has not been able to find the time. However, back in October, he picked up Trump’s book The Art of the Deal. When he finished it, he knew that Trump had his vote.

I’ll bet Clinton gets the freeloaders down at SEIU. (ACORN’s evil offspring). That’s the freeloader union.

I was one of the project managers for the Taj project. I also met him when he would go to work with his dad in Brooklyn. I lived across the street from his dad’s office.

I was at the Taj during the 1992 Nor’easter. I was sitting on the boardwalk, drinking beer and watching the surfers get creamed. Once the water came up under the Boardwalk, I bugged out. Turned out water came into the hotel.

I THINK I went in that hurricane!!

my GF and I took 6pm bus out of NYC and came home at 4am.

Water was REALLY washing under the boardwalk.

Had to be the same storm.

We were concerned, to say the least :)

Everbody, EVERYBODY, admires and wants a candidate who speaks his mind and states his position, then doesn’t waffle. We haven’t had a person like that in the White House since GW. Americans yearn for such a person, Her Thighness ain’t it, Trump gets it!

Regular union members understand that the US economy needs to improve, in order for their jobs and pensions to be secure. They understand that the Democrats will sell them out.
