I loved the ‘record unfavorable ratings’ headlines, and you go look at the internals, and lo and behold, Trump is getting equal to or higher than Romney's election day numbers in every demographic, and Hillary is 13-25% behind Obama’s numbers, and this repeats in every swing state.

Yep, we're looking at a landslide. Now the question becomes, how do we control the beast we created? Direct his attention towards conservative goals? The answer is simple: We don't. We'll scream and yell at every bad decision and awful deal Trump will make; at the same time, the massive turnover in federal employees and appointments will dramatically shift the regulatory landscape and undo most of Obama’s term in weeks.

Since I can count on Republicans doing everything I'd ‘fear’ from a Trump presidency ANYWAY, no matter who took the Oval Office, and some of it I expect to see done during the lame duck legislative session, that, to me, is all I care about at this point. Some great judges would be icing on the cake.

But even Adams accepts the #s as “real.” They aren’t.

I maintain that precisely because Trump is as much viewed a an entertainer as politician, the numbers are irrelevant and have to be viewed in light of other “characters” like “The Undertaker,” or “J. R. Ewing” or “Richard Petty.” Each of these characters was hated/booed, yet it was all an act. WWF fans bought action toys and gear with “The Undertaker” on it like crazy. Petty’ jackets and model cars sold like hotcakes. Larry Hagman made a career out of people who tuned in just to watch J.R.

Trump is the same way.
