Greetings from the other side of the world. We are not "down under", as we are north of the Equator, here in the Philippines. I am getting ready for a glass of red wine from a box, then will fade back into my bed. Still in recovery mode, but meds are working great.

Here, leading Presidential candidate, Rody Duterte, is being likened to Donald Trump. BUT, they are nothing alike. Trump is a seasoned businessman, whereas Duterte has been involved with Government on various levels. He has been a Prosecutor and now admits to having sent his "Davao Death Squad" to execute criminals caught in the act or proven records

But, they both are loved by the people. Duterte is challenging the corruption and good-old-boy network of Marcos, etal. Duterte doesn't trust Obama and says he will deal with China directly, re: South China Sea man-made islands.

Trump is showing the corruption of the mono-party. He is a down-to-earth builder and buyer. He has a record and a desire to get things back on track for America.

We live in interesting times.
