I read that Stephen Hayes, at FOXMegyn Network, said tonight that the GOPE will recommend a Third Party candidate.

I don’t believe it. FIVE Families are funding these Stop Trump efforts. Unless they are actually on Hillary’s globalist payroll.

In RI, if you have more than 10% you get 1 delegate, Over 50 gets 3 delegate and 2nd place gets 2.

Ahh, what a little dude. My tiny Tiki has been down and out like a baby for hours. Poor thing, I have two TV’s roaring right along. Watching until I’m glazed over.

Think I must retire myself, perusing the long thread on the way.

Get your rest, girlfriend, it’s a long campaign.

I’m sorry you have been ill! Yes, a very nice young man found Louie and kept him overnight. Turned out quite well for all concerned. His young children cried when I went to collect Louie, but I’ve hired him to walk Louie 4 times a week! He and his family live less than 2 blocks from me.

:)

Aw, your Tiki sounds sweet. I’m out of Liverwurst! I used the last of it to hide his 30-day Flea & Heart Worm meds. I forgot to hide his Benedryl in it. Sheeeesh.

He will be UP for another hour. He’s busy chasing 2 moths that got into the house.

Every cloud has a silver lining! I know you're relieved.

Cadbury is so well known in our subdivision, that if he ever gets out, someone will beat a path to my door. But, he knows where the food bucket is !

Kasich is delusional but I DESPISE Cruz.
He’s mean, vile and EVIL.

My Louie is getting “well-known,” unfortunately.

LOL.

Okay, I’m off to bed, love. See ya’ soon. Love to you and little pal..

A lot of the New England states (CT, RI, MA, VT, NH and maybe even ME (I can’t remember right now)), will break down vote by town. I can tell you from living in NY Greenwich is a town, not a precinct as is Stamford, New Haven, etc.

Connecticut was WTA by virtue of Trump breaking 50% statewide. Greenpapers has him winning every CD. Eyeballing the map, i know he took each county.

As far as Rhode Island goes, the rules are complex.

There are two Congressional Districts in RI, six delegates total. (2x3)
As long as all three candidates broke 10%, they were assured of a delegate from each CD.

That happened in CD-1, so Cruz, Kasich and Trump each got a delegate.
In CD-2, Cruz missed the 10% threshold, so Trump took 2 delegates and Kasich 1.

Rhode Island also apportioned their 3 statewide RNC delegates the same as they did with Congressional Districts.

Trump, Cruz and Kasich each took.

So with the first set of votes tallied, it was Trump 4, Kasich 3, Cruz 2.

Rhode Island had 10 more delegates to allocate based on the statewide vote. But had a peculiar rule where fractionals were rounded down. The additional delegate(s) were given to the winner.

Trump finished with roughly 64% of the vote and was awarded 6 delegates.
Kasich finished with roughly 24% of the vote and was awarded 2 delegates.
Cruz finished with just over 10% of the vote and was awarded 1 delegate.

Since 6+2+1=9, Trump was given the extra delegate. (7 total).

The final numbers were Trump 11, Kasich 5, Cruz 3.

I hope that explains some things. Rhode Island was not straightforward at all.

You’re doing good. I’ll take your word for it, as I’ve been looking at counties, which is a great trivia exercise, but the two CD’s are what actually matter.

I’ve also been staring at the RI GOP Delegate Selection Plan until I’m blue in the face.

We are here on a 2 week visit . We are staying in an apt. We have met American ex-pats who love it here, but say it is expensive. A beer in a pub is $7. There is a 25% alcohol tax. Local food stalls are very inexpensive, restaurants can be very expensive. City is beautiful, very clean, great transportation. It has some of the most beautiful parks and botanical gardens I have ever seen.
Local people here are very tech savvy, well informed and most speak English very well. We have asked many questions about US politics, esp about Mr. Trump.

After bragging how he won so many states in a row (none determined by voters), Cruz is out there this morning chanting, “we’re Number 3! We’re Number 3!”
