That’s a good point.
I ran across a video of Tead showing him in his early college days referencing women in public like 13 or 14 year olds do in private. It was off color and demeaning.
With all the prevalent video clips out there today, I didn’t give it much thought at the time. Then later on it hit me. This was about 1988 to 1990. Who had a video camera with them in those days? And somehow this clip is on the internet today.
I think Ted must like it being out there. Perhaps he thinks it makes him look like a ladies man. No, it makes him look like he never had a date with anything other than an inflatable.
He seems like he was one of those weird precocious guys that didn’t have any common sense. And if I read him right, he’s still got that problem today.
He has made some very big unforced errors IMO.
This is another one. So what if the Eagle Forum didn’t endorse him. Shake it off and move on. Folks would forget in a matter of weeks if not days.
As you said, he didn’t distance himself. He certainly should have.
