My son and daughter-in-law just got back from Costa Rica.
It is interesting to me how people how people react to such situations.
From the first of the video on, you could see the person at the table bracing against gravity as the boat listed to the side.
It was already time to go, but people have a tendency to hope against hope a return to normalcy.

The most despicable part of this video IS THE PERSON TAKING THE VIDEO. Your life is in serious jeopardy and you just can't bring yourself to ruling out being a YouTube sensation? WTF?!! Lots of younger people will be video-ing all the way to their graves!!
I've been on a Hobie cat that got "too much air" and tipped over miles out to sea. We righted it with a little effort but knowing sharks are swimming below you is a bit hair raising. LOL

Not likely. More like charges of negligence and insufficient training for the crew: apparently, no one knew how to release the sheets....and there was a lot of time to do it.
That's what jumped out at me. As that puppy contined to heel, I'd be climbing uphill REALLY fast.

Yes, those people with physical ailments are at severe risk. No doubt about it.
Relaxing and taking it all in stride is important.
It doesn’t take all that much energy to slip into the water and float.
Don’t panic and over exert yourself.
As for the cameraman, some folks just like to document things.
I thought it was interesting to watch how people were reacting.

More like turning turtle....>>>> yes been there done that off sandy hook. highlands hobie fleet i jibed and the prindle 16 went turtle. wind was whipping and every time we popped it up using the tarp the damn thing capsized again. then as we turned it around one more time,it popped up on it’s own and my buddy scrambled up and started sailing. me and his gf where hanging on the back of the tarp. she was losing it due to a lack of upper body strength. i grabbed her bikini bottoms and threw her on board, then climbed myself on. pure adrenalin.
