With Rafael Cruz, and John Kasich joining forces to defeat Trump or meet him at a contested convention, this shows more than ever before, that these two contestants, are not interested in a Republican, first and foremost becoming President, and for the democrat to lose. They are not interested in the successful advancements of a congress and senate with Republican advantage doing something positive for America, picking a conservative 9th Supreme Court Judge, abolishing the commandments made by Obama, dismantling Obamacare, and building our military.

These men are INSTEAD hell bent on destroying the ONLY chance a republican has in this election to beat Hildabeast.

Meanwhile, Trump has said, that if he loses, you will not hear from him again. And I believe him. Why would he? He does not need the money, he has the expertise that nobody else has to uniquely change our country from being run by politicians to be pragmatically changed to a business like administration. If you don’t want him, don’t look for him to offer again.

Wake up America, the opponents of Trump are showing their true colors. They need to be admonished by the people in any way possible.

You have to keep your eye on the prize.

Other than that he’ll be everywhere and highly in demand.

The uniparty will have secured their victory for decades.

Sounds good to me!

But if he is nominated, I’ll have to close my eyes, hold my nose and vote for him. Hillary (and Bernie) scare me more than Trump.

Quite frankly, I wouldn't blame him. He's actually fighting to give part of his life to this country, and after 10 months of being sand-bagged by his own party, why the hell should he continue to endure Republican establishment hatred.

He's tough, has always worked to win, but he is a human being. He and his offspring can continue running the business and enjoy their lives to the fullest extent.

If he fails, it will be interesting to see what America becomes in the next several years. I am certain that many of us will reflect and say, "Trump would not have allowed that to happen."

Oh, come on. Who really believes that this attention addict will go away quietly upon losing? No such luck. He’s not going anywhere. He can’t. Attention is the oxygen that he breathes. As Bill Buckley said about him, The Donald would be competing for Miss America if he were built a bit differently.

I think it would be a shame for Trump or anyone to go out like a sore loser. If he were to lose, even through dirty tricks that includes anything illegal or immoral, I would hope he would still care as much about America as ever. It doesn’t mean he needs to endorse or otherwise support anyone who cares more about their dirty tricks than they do about the future of our country. But I hope that he, and anyone else running, will continue to care.

I think that the GOP needs to firmly stand by the rules they put in place before this election season started. The process integrity matters more than. And its time to put to rest all the stupidity games and talk about trying to bend the rules. Does the GOP want to be like one of the whiners who was losing in 2008 for the Dem’s but thought she could win the nomination by changing the rules regarding Florida after-the-fact? Does the GOP want to be like that whiner? If Cruz, Kasich, or anyone else gets the nomination by playing by the rules with integrity then congrats to them. The best thing for Trump to do is to go win more primaries so he can sew it up on the 1st ballot. And the next best thing he can do is go ensure that all of his delegates really are his delegates and to do this fairly. The whole idea of quadrennial party conventions was to decide the nominee for Pres/VP and if things are handled fairly then Trump will start the contest with the most delegates of any candidate. He could very well win on a later ballot.

Full disclosure: I did not endorse Trump. I endorsed Kasich. However it was not an easy choice to make because frankly none of the candidates left in the race the day before the Texas primary when I made my endorsement looked exciting to me. So whenever anyone tries to ridicule me on this website or anywhere for my endorsement I just sigh and think “I wish we had someone better”. I’d like to think Trump is genuine but I honestly have a hard time trusting him that he won’t become like the typical two-faced politician we see all the time.

Yep, we’ll probably never see him again, except for his TV shows, his phone-in interviews, and his many products and businesses. He’ll completely fade away.

“They fight like hell for six months, and they’re saying horrible things, the worst things you can imagine,” Trump said. “And then one of them loses, one of them wins. And the one who loses says, ‘I just want to congratulate my opponent..."

So how does Trump reconcile talk like this with his call for party unity? He's saying that Rubio and Kasich and Cruz should basically go away when they lose because that's what he would do. And I assume they should take all their supporters with them.

The usual approach to party politics has been the presumption that all the candidates agreed to a certain set of core principles, and that their competition was to see who would be the best nominee to articulate and implement whatever would be consistent with those principles. The best administration would be built with the best people, from the top down.

This time, as we are learning, is different. In 1980, GHWB lamented Reagan’s “voodoo economics” in the primaries but he didn’t attack Reagan, so when Bush 41 became Reagan’s VP choice everyone knew that they differed on economic theory but that they agreed on some basic principles. Those of us who hoped for Cruz/Trump or Trump/Cruz uniting the disaffected electorate, however, have no chance of that happening: Trump would not be able to explain how the nation would be better off with Trump-named “Lyin’ Ted” by his side, and Cruz would not be able to explain how the nation would be better off with against-our-principles “tax the rich, let ‘em pick their rest rooms” Trump as his boss.

I will give Trump this much about his honesty, though. If Hillary wins, he doesn’t lose, because he can hole up in Turnburry while the rest of us suffer the loss of our country, so there would be no reason for him to either congratulate Hillary or lament his loss.

Trump frequently touts his support from Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson.

Has Christie fallen off the face of the earth...?

Since Trump embarrassed him when he announced his endorsement, I haven't heard a peep from him..

While Reince is presiding over the funeral in Cleveland of a large, stinking, rotten, dead elephant, and if the highest vote-getter (Trump) is not selected as the candidate, Trump should do a mic-drop and walk out. Buh-bye.
