Cruz is a man of very poor character. People do not want him or he would have won the votes of the masses. We have a person like him already in the White House and we never want to see it happen again.

Cruz is a man of very good character who is being inaccurately portrayed otherwise. People do not want him as much as they want Trump, who better expresses their views this year, or Cruz would have won the votes of the masses. We have a person nothing like Cruz already in the White House, but Cruz is the opposite of the lawless thug currently destroying America. I'm voting Trump tomorrow, but I can do that without having to trash a good man who is a reliable and patriotic conservative.

Oh sweet Arceus; did Cruz actually SAY that?! Is there a citation that I can show people?

Whether he was being truthful or lying, that makes him 100% unacceptable to me.

And not a Christian either.

Cruz won’t do anything with Clinton. He won’t be the nominee.

My head just exploded. I cannot believe Cruz said this. Another John Roberts. Cruz is being blackmailed by the Clintons. Just what we need. Another Roberts but this time in the Whitehouse.

So what is the alternative. Go negative on Hillary alone and not present any substance at all. That may play to Trump’s strengths but it probably won’t win an election.

“Another gentleman loser. We need a street fighter.”

No. We need a gentleman

And Cruz isn’t one

The concept is very twisted around Cruz has been attacking trump family and all when trump is trying to stop the invasion

I’ve lived in Texas where the invasion pushes Americans literally out of the way out of jobs, to be first in line with their foreign language, disrespecting our constitution flying their foreign flag at the same or higher height than the american flag. Allowing that is the ultimate I gentlemanly behavior and that is Ted Cruz

Saying he’s gentlemanly towards Hillary. A known criminal who allowed her embassy people to die in country. Anyone who gives her a modicum of respect is the opposite of a gentleman he is a prick. To do so while putting down someone who would save this country and put her into her proper place is much worse than a prick. However certainly no gentleman. And I have to say that by those standards yes I have met very few gentlemen. But I do know a few.

According to the infamous ‘Snopes.Com’, Cruz did NOT say that, and they claim the quote was a manufactured satire piece first appearing somewhere on Facebook.

So, as they say “Your Mileage May Vary”.

Even IF Cruz did not actually say that, the very existence of a manufactured (even if false) quote like that would still be considered fair game by Hillary Rotten Criminal and her ‘RAT campaign.

Cruz is a polarizing figure. He claims to be a Christian, but that insane Dominionist “7 Mountains” doctrine espoused by his daddy is not at all Christian, it is nothing but the deranged teachings of yet one more cult.

In the interest of fairness and accuracy, I’ll be asking the mod to take that quote and that pic in #56 down.

Unfortunately, you cannot defeat rhetoric, at which the Left machine excels. with dialectics, which is our preferred mode of discourse.

The Hillary Clinton or, more likely Joe Biden campaign will be a flood of rhetoric - “sexist, racist, anti-gay” 24x7, on all channels and voiced by every single element of the infotainment complex.

These are insults, not arguments. These are punches to the face, not an opening for dialogue.

ANY dialectic response weakens the responder - from “Democrats are the real racists” to “binders full of women”. The accusers are NOT INTERESTED in your response, and they are certainly not engaged in a joint effort to discover the truth.

I believe Joe Biden will be the candidate. He’s a master of rhetoric. He invented Borking. He discovered Anita Hill. He chewed up Paul Ryan and spit him out.

The correct response to rhetoric is rhetoric. “Mr. Trump has made racism the foundation of his campaign” should be answered by “I wonder if those hair plugs caused brain damage”. Or, if somehow Hillary avoids indictment, “Mr. Trump wants to put women back in the kitchen” is answered by “Thank God I don’t need Hillary to make me a sandwich, I’d probably get food poisoning”.

Cruz, of course, will not be the nominee. But his pre-emptive surrender, by promising to answer rhetoric with dialectics, should make his unfitness obvious to any but the most far-gone Cruz partisans.

Cruz won’t get “personal” with a Dem opponent but he will trash Trump. Not hard to figure what values he supports. A globalist love fest is what he would have. He can’t condemn her values he shares them.

Curious since he is going very personal against Trump, right out of Alinsky.

Typical that the establishment Republicans will attack and eat their own, but only use kid gloves against the opposition. And that is the very problem with the GOP, in general.

Well, TeddyBooBoo, if you did happen to get the nomination [which will never happen, of course], Hillary would unleash hell — politics of personal destruction and scorched earth are two such tactics the Clintons are very adept at using. You ain’t seen negative attacks until you get between Hillary and the Oval Office.

Cruz has just announced that he will not oppose Hillary in any meaningful way.

To go after Hillary, the candidate needs to be willing to talk about her personal character, and all the indicators of it, from why Clinton was fired from the Watergate committee for unethical behavior, through he suspicious "cattle futures" investments, Benghazi, emails, etc, etc.

But that would be "going personal".

one serious challenge he'd need to address is trying to argue principle when he's differentiating his views from Hillary's.

Hillary doesn't have any "views", and if she did, you certainly wouldn't be hearing about them this Fall.

What you will hear is "racist, sexist, anti-gay" 24x7, and what you need to beat that is constant, focused, vulgar attacks.

This is not the Agora in Athens. This is 21st Century America, where the Left has mastered rhetoric while the Right feebly responds with "reasoned arguments".

No more losers. GO TRUMP.

Hey, Ted, she will go personal on you. The only way to win an election against Hillary is to go personal, it seems that is all the American voter is capable of understanding. On a daily basis, the movie Idiocracy exposes just how close we are becoming like the idiots in that movie.

I still see Hillary as the front runner, but I would not be surprised if Bernie goes “third party” he has become a cult figure. VP Biden will not run. Death of his son ended any running chances.
