Because of me, everyone now sees that the Republican primary system is totally rigged.
Does not compute...
and would be receiving in excess of 60% of the vote except for the fact that there were so many candidates running against me.
Where's the evidence of that?
If Kasich has been staying in this race without having cut a deal with Trump already, then he's an idiot. His presence in the race has only helped Trump gain more delegates.
“Trump promised in the past to release his Income Tax returns - now he wont. What is he hiding?”
Mike Huckabee advised him not do do it under any circumstance.
Also, why doesn’t Cruz release his U.S. citizenship verification documents? What is he hiding?
“This whole election year is heading for disaster.”
Nothing like a strong dose of pessimism to set the right tone for your post; your readers just can’t WAIT to see what droll and inspiring things you’ll say next.
“It does look like Trump will win the Republican nomination.”
I’d not count that as in the bag, but — yeah — it is looking like the highest probability outcome.
“It is also a certainty that Clinton will win the general.”
Right. Just like the very electable, experienced Romney was going to wipe the walls with Obama’s raggedy ass. Yes, Trump COULD get beat in november, but you’re WAY out in the skinny branches of unsupportable prognostication to be calling it a done deal at this stage.
“There also goes the Senate, House, and Supreme Court.”
The Supreme Court is a wildcard, but you’re not going to get a conservative out of a Kasich Presidency, and even Cruz has shown weakness in resisting the lure of the middle ground. So that could be a washout no matter which Republican gets to the White House next January.
As for Congress: given how pissed off people are at the establishment membership in the Senate, and the House, I entertain great doubts as to there being a plurality of voters who’d be all that saddened to see most all of the current occupants hit the road. Folks are in a “clean house” mindframe; a tough election environment for establishment incumbents, and an excellent one for fresh faces.
“It would have better if Trump stayed with reality television. His temperament, and vulgarity will lose it for him and Republicans like me.”
You speak too soon. SO many people are SO pissed off, right now that Trump’s fiery delivery, and his edgy outbursts completely resonate, and DEEPLY. He’s saying what millions are thinking, and he’s saying those things in very much the same way they’ve been thinking them in their own heads, if not saying them out loud, themselves. I’m sorry if that grates your cheese, but being able to connect with massive numbers of Americans at a deep, visceral level is campaign PLATINUM; it’s “reality television” in SPADES, and in that regard this election has been nearly ALL Trump, ALL the time, with Cruz “The Puritan” and Kasich “The Electable Guy” picking up the scraps.
“Trump is not a Republican and we should not give our nomination to him.”
TECHNICALLY, he is; every bit the Republican as any other suit with an “R” after their name, and three times the Republican of many establishment hacks who’ve been corrupting their offices for YEARS (hello, Graham, McCain, McConnel, Paul Ryan, and any other establishment beast you care to name). But — getting beyond technicalities — you go read his stated positions on core issues; he’s staking out political territory to the right of any other Republican candidate left standing. His 2nd Amendment posture is stronger than anyone else’s; and that’s not his only Ace.
Rush will talk around this today but never admit it. And he said he was a friend of Trump. I wonder what Trump thinks of Rush now.
Name one issue where Cruz has changed his position to be more liberal.
Well, I guess Kasich and Cruz are both off the VP list.... When will these people understand???
bump
...Due to his lack of ethics, [Cruz] is incapable of exercising prudent judgement... But his ethics are perfect for Golden Sacks. Collusion is the game for guys like Warren Buffet. He colludes with government to get what he wants. Buffet wanted to protect his railroads carrying oil, so he makes a deal with Obama to stop the pipeline. Golden Sacks and Cruz are a match. He is guaranteed a cushy job thanks to carrying water for the GOPe and crooked influencers on Wall Street. |
Really lame post. You miss the point. The system is rigged. Your questions are pointless and irrelevant.

The GOP plan is to nominate Kasich on the third ballot at a “contested” convention and select Marco Rubio as his running mate.
I’m guessing the GOP offered Cruz a SCOTUS nomination if Kasich wins and/or heavy financial support for his Senate re-election campaign.
The GOP believes the “base” will “get over it, “ support Kasich/Rubio, and vote against Hillary. If Hillary wins anyway the GOP still wins.
That’s what’s coming folks. Get ready for it.
Good grief, the GOP is in “civil war” mode.

Wrong, wrong, and wrong again. You just do not know a winner. Trump will make mincemeat out of Hillary. As he has said time and time again, he hasn’t started on her yet. Look at the past. He has destroyed the whole Republican field even with the Establishment’s and media collusion. If he is such a loser, why is he winning? He stands to get more democrat and independent votes than either Cruz or Kasich would ever get and everyone knows it, especially the political Establishment.
Nobody pretends that Trump is conservative. But Trump wants America to be a Judeo-Christian nation. Trump wants to empower the people with jobs, no other candidate has any plan to bring America back to being a world leader in manufacturing. He has nuanced views on religious issues like abortion. There is no way to roll back morning-after pills or things like that. But he is against Planned Parenthood. He wasn't always against Planned Parenthood, but he is now.
It’s sad that the great “deal maker” can’t work with others to make a deal.
In the last 25 years when has “movement” Conservatism’s socio-economic doctrine shown any consideration to the “plight” of the average American? The Republican Party does a good job at representing global economic interests but Nationalistic and pro-American interests well not so much.
“Well, well, well, I wonder what rush will say.”
He will say how brilliant they are for taking advantage of the rules, and then make fun of Trump for complaining about it. He’ll then act offended that Trump has the audacity to declare himself the winner before he’s actually won. Some Trump supporter will call up, and Rush will mock them or cut off the call. In between all this, we’ll hear commercials for TPP and Ted Cruz.
Cruz just complained on Hannity radio show that Kasich was auditioning to be Trumps VP. Things sure are taking some strange turns, ha?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The short list for Trump’s VP slot:
1) Sarah Palin ( also Commerce or BLM, )
2) Chris Christie ( also AG )
3) Ben Carson ( Also health or Surgeon General)
4) Karl Icahn ( Also Treasury)
5) Paul LePage, Main Gov.
6) Rick Scott, Florida Gov.
7) Jan Brewer ( Arizona frmr gov.)
8)Joe Arpaio ( also Homeland Security)
