Three people were killed and at least 20 others have been wounded in shootings across Chicago since Friday evening.
The most recent homicide happened early Sunday in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

>>The total number of shootings in inner city neighborhoods across the country is rarely discussed.
Even here, we find people using euphemisms like “inner city neighborhoods.”
Let’s call it for what it is - criminal urban blacks, mostly killing each other over drug turf wars, or just minor “dissing”. The stats show that blacks commit murder at rates 7-8 times higher than whites.
It’s the elephant in the room, and has been for 40-50 years.
“The most recent homicide happened early Sunday in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side”
Maybe a resident was upset that they moved North Lawndale from the West Side to the Southwest Side.
Idiot Chicago “newspapers” - almost as incompetent as the Democrat party hacks who pretend you can fix a cultural problem with gun control.
They're the same thing.
Weekend ain’t over yet! This is Sunday!
It’s going to be a long, hot, bloody summer/fall all across America.
Hillary said she wants to battle against the gun culture, change the gun culture, words to that effect.
So I assume she will visit soon, to do battle against the gun culture of the ghetto of Chicago.
Lets call it for what it is - criminal urban blacks, mostly killing each other over drug turf wars, or just minor dissing. The stats show that blacks commit murder at rates 7-8 times higher than whites.

We are not allowed to talk about Negro violence since that would be racist. So we are compelled to dance around the issues and talk about peripheral issues, such as how guns from Indiana end up in Chicago.
We don’t talk about why so many in Chicago feel compelled to shoot each other. Instead we talk about how guns find their way from a neighboring state, without regard to who does what with the guns in Chicago.
Either way, it really doesn't matter. You'll be condemned as a racist for just bringing it up. Even though the lawless behavior costs the country an immense amount of money.
After looking over the stats on Jackass it appears this level of murder is on the lighter side when looking over the past 50 years or so. Immanuel is not even close to presiding over the highest total.
If someone else would look at the stats and give some added perspective it would be appreciated.
Getting a nice jump on the run to 2,000 shootings by Labor Day.
It’s a toddling town !
Since this is just the Sun-Times' weekly body count we can assume that this translates as 23 black victims killed or wounded by black killers. While on the surface this appears to be a tragedy of epic proportions, certainly on the scale of the recent San Bernadino terrorist attack, it's not even front page news.
It's something we just don't want to make to big a deal over. If Rev'rund Al doesn't go on TV and try and exploit it, it don't mean nuffin'... and I'm white, so I should shut up and let those people who's black kids are getting killed off by other black kids tell us all what we can think. They will let ME know if the dead kid matters.
So, having no other choice I have finally embraced the mantra of Black Lives Matter.
Since I am, after all, a White Supremacist Devil, it would be a major micro-aggression for me to even take notice of all those black people bleeding in the streets. They are NOT the people that Black Lives Matter are talking about when they talk about black lives mattering.
It is just me demonstrating my white-supremacist privilege, using irony to pretend that I am even CAPABLE of caring about those black victims, simply because it blackens... no, wait a minute... it darkens... drat. Gimme a second here. OK. Simply because it emphasizes the fact that the shooters are... here we go again... because it emphasizes the fact that the alleged shooters are People of Color.
(OK, I better remember to put on a /sarc tag on this.)
Which means she'll be bringing back midnight basketball to "fix" the problem in the "urban centers" of the country.
You can take the jungle out of Africa and pave it with concrete but you can't take the jungle out of black tribal DNA.
If Rahm could just persuade Chicago abortion clinics to ramp up their mass infanticide of unborn black babies, this intramural genocide might reduce the herd to the carrying capacity of the environment.
The Democrats, who support Saint Margaret Sanger's racial eugenics program are doing anything they can to carry it on in her memory.
Margaret Sanger, you may recall, was an early "feminist" who in her own words described blacks, immigrants and indigents as "...human weeds,' and 'reckless breeders,' 'spawning... human beings who never should have been born."
Rahm Emanuel created the conditions that just added dead black teenagers to the list. No loss. Just "human weeds"...
I understand your point, but would express it differently: Most people want to fix this problem but can see no solutions.
In order to solve the problems of inner-city blacks we will need to face some very painful facts that no one wants to confront. Until we are able to have a truthful and factual discussion where no topics are out-of-bounds the only available solution is quarantine.
Everyone pretends they want to fix the problems of inner-city blacks. We spend billions every year on pretend solutions, and then spend even more the next year when the solutions don't work. Democrats understand the situation perfectly and dishonestly play it to their advantage. Republicans tip-toe up to the edge of the truth and get burned by the media and the race industry.
We want to fix the problem, but trying to actually fix it is politically a certain death.
Somebody need some range time.
We could have done better... but the weather wasn’t so great.
Give us a couple weeks until the warm weather hits.
an insult to Baghdad!!!!
