Panel talking about Trump saying he know he needs to be more disciplined, but his thousands of supporters want to be entertained at his rallies, and he doesn’t want to let them down.

Short clip of Terd lying on-stage.

FNS round table fixated on Trump's tone, presidential, whatever. Reinforces point with WaPo editorial which is critical of Trump's tone.

Also on Trump's unfavorables. Wallace won't let go of "new Donald Trump," assigning to Trump his rally and entertainment persona.

Wallace tries to inflate the bathroom issue. Asks if this is a good issue?

FNS did it's research - it consulted politifact. Hahahah. What a superficial bunch of blowhards. Consensus is that this is not a problem, not an issue, manufactured issue, but it isn't working on the voters, despite the best efforts of the press.

Wallace asks if the is growing acceptance or resignation that Trump will win the nomination? He wasn't asking for which of those, he was implying they were the same thing. The question is whether the party is moving toward dealing with Trump on other than adversarial terms.

THIS WEEK (ABC) has so much hate of Mr. Trump in their
conference that their boiling envy/terror appeared
as blood from their eyes, and synchronous interruptions
of speech, all reminding the observer of
George Orwell’s “1984”’s brainwashing “2 minutes of Hate”,
now expanded by ABC and the DNC’s Stephanopoulos
to almost a half hour.

“The programmes of the Two Minutes Hate varied
from day to day, but there was none in which
Goldstein was not the principal figure.
He was the primal traitor, the earliest defiler
of the Party’s purity. All subsequent crimes
against the Party, all treacheries, acts of sabotage,
heresies, deviations, sprang directly out of his teaching.”

Can’t watch Debbie W-S. That would make waterboarding look like a fun day at the park.

Well, as us Floridians must do on a Sunday, it’s either get out there and cut the grass before it gets too hot or jump in the hotrod and go cruisin’ before it gets too hot. My wife says I’ve got to do the former. So, it’s off I go to slay the grasses, I go!

Watching Meet the Press and discover that former Loot-Gov of Merryland, Michael Steele, is a pundit for MSNBC!

Go on....once he pretended to be a conservative.

And I apologize in advance to the perverts who dress up like women who want to allow THAT to be the determining factor for which bathroom they use.

It’s perverted and stop telling me it’s not.

Fox found a Cruz supporter to get on their roundtable with a well rehearsed bashfest of Trump. I am sure that he would rather have someone more Presidential like Romney. Trump needs to keep fighting and he will win.

The Punditocracy of DC does not realize Republicans have two choices, win ugly or lose with dignity. Most would prefer the latter.

If Politifacts says it it must be true. A few rapes in the name of tolerance is tolerable.

Washrag’s lips are moving, and when she smiles, she seems to be an attractive young woman.

With the miracle of mute, I have no idea what she’s saying.

Fantastic job reporting on the Fox news segment that was supposed to undermine the Trump campaign Cboldt. You must have been a court recorder!

Crissy indeed was just flat out nasty to Manafort and absolutely failed rattle the Trump campaign representative. The MSM is desperate to stop the inevitable Trump nomination. After Tuesday they know that the finish line will be in sight and the momentum will be enough to hit 1237+ delegates.

Yeah, but since it's a RAT-policy, is it really "rape-rape"?

-- This is the one interview I really want to see today. --

I don't think there was much in the body language and tone that makes it worth watching, as compared with reading the transcript. Wallace's bias is apparent from his questions. Neither one got heated. Wallace did misspeak, substituting "Trump" for "Cruz" at one point (or the reverse, I forget which, but it is clear from the exchange).

Even when Wallace was attacking Manafort personally, for Manafort's roles in foreign elections, Manafort kept his cool and answered the question.

It will be interesting to see if the "Trump is a political insider" meme gets much traction. I can't imagine it will, the press really doesn't have any attack that works. And the "Trump is an insider" attack is only good when pitting Trump against Cruz - it's worthless when pitting Trump against whichever DEM, except in the reverse way that as not-a-politician, he lacks the experience and connections to get political things done.

good morning AB et al... quick drive by .. working hotel front desk and RARELY do I get here to read/post until after 9PM as I work til 8:30 =/-. A treat to have caught up with posts, even though at this point only under 50.

Missed our Cleveland MAGA rally as I was working (do every Sat & Sun). Tonight a break from politics.. The Temptations are in town and I will be front and center a big Motown fan since high school.

Thanks for your links, info and play by plays of the morning interviews. I can never see them and I apprciate the commentary.

Have a great day all..

-- Fox found a Cruz supporter to get on their roundtable with a well rehearsed bashfest of Trump. --

Quite obvious! It was quite a rant. Wallace was impressed, and pleased! If I recall correctly, the rant was more or less on Trump's tone.

Trump is right about the press, most dishonest. "Presidential tone" is a manufactured issue. Rallies are for "pep," not for sounding presidential.

-- The Punditocracy of DC does not realize Republicans have two choices, win ugly or lose with dignity. Most would prefer the latter. --

I don't think Trump's style is all that ugly. It's a bit juvenile at points, but beats the heck out of politically correct. with Trump, at this point, "what you see is what you get," as far as policy preferences go. He's responsive to questions, and doesn't use every question as an excuse to contrast himself with his opponents.

I do agree that the RNC prefers to lose, and I would say it prefers to lose, PERIOD. No way could Jeb win, but that was okay, because his cousin Hillary would take care that the Bush family racket wouldn't be harmed or exposed; just as the Bush family would do for the Clinton syndicate.

No, just like Mooselimb rapes, transgender rapes are to be tolerated and embraced. It is only White heterosexual rapes that count.

Same thing as black on black murders vs White on black shootings. One promotes the agenda and one doesn’t.

and there is this from Debbie W-S.....”Colin Powell, John Kerry and Condoleezza Rice all used their private email address for Government business and that Hillary had permission to do the same.” Ergo.....Hillary has not a problem in the world regarding the FBI security check.

Superb report. Paul Manafort is cool under pressure and doesn’t suffer fools like Wallace. It’s so reassuring when he adamantly declares there will be no second ballot.
Over on CNN’s State of the Union, Donald Trump Jr. was fabulous in his interview with Jake Tapper. Don Jr was on camera from Scranton PA and ripped into the arcane delegate process in that state. Both interviews are definitely worth another look. CNN @NOON ET and Fox @2PM & 6PM.
BTW, FNC has a Town Hall Special @8PM—I’m not sure if Trump will be involved.

I'm praying for a conservatives version of hope and change.

Well in that case, Senator Cruz would be a good choice
