I’m sure he was getting hungry. Guess he hasn’t mastered the art of the kill!

I’m sure the poor lil thing was hungry too. I never saw Momma or Dad deliver food last night.
It’ll be a while yet before either owlet is able to kill their own food. The parents will take food to them for a few more weeks.

The cam op did a scan of the area this afternoon looking for Stormy but had no luck. I know Stormy was in the nest tree last night because I could hear him/her chirping for a while. Might still be up there and Windy with him/her now.

Watching the hawks at the moment. The third hawklet is in the process of hatching and I hope to get a first glimpse “live” this time. Big Red has nest duty tonight and she’s very restless due to the activity beneath her. Sure wish she’d stand up!

Nice of you to mow for him....have you started your new job?

Rain or shine I’m taking Mom to get flowers for her deck garden. She wants petunias out back on the deck. Last week the only thing we saw was pansies.

After she finishes getting it ready, we will think about the garden area by the driveway. I don’t do gardening. d:o)

Windy is in the branch where Cam 2 is placed. he’s doing his close-up selfies again tonight! LOL! Only slightly waterlogged.

He keeps looking around, so know someone is close by. I did see the look-around this afternoon. Interesting to see the lay of the land.

Ah, so the lil silly is back and playing again now. LOL!
I still have the hawks up in hopes of seeing G3 soon.

They stay close to the nest tree when they fledge so Stormy’s somewhere close. Momma’s probably sitting next to him/her.

I like it when they do a scan to find the owls in the trees. Very pretty area they live in and what a view from the nest! I found where they are with Google Earth last year though I couldn’t pick out the precise tree.

Someone posted a picture on the cam site of a firetruck next to the tree...probably installing or repairing one of the cams. It’s in front of a rather large home or a golf club house. Very lovely area!
