Agreed; not sure what kind of "legal scholars" the author consulted.

Unfortunately, with a 4/4 balance this is almost certainly not the best court for the decision.

However, my money says if Cruz is the GOP candidate, Trump will certainly have standing and would be sorely tempted to use it.

This one will end quickly without any action by SCOTUS. The Pennsylvania and New Jersey cases may go forward.

As an NFL fan, it drives me crazy when teams try to "run out the clock." It almost never works, and, in fact, often backfires. Cruz is hoping to run out the clock on the RNC ...only to find that the DNC would have it before a favorable federal judge within days!

Please Ted Cruz, go back to Winnepeg and open a Godman Sachs branch office or something!
