The thing is...if you line 50 Democrats and put up a law to confiscate or end gun ownership...at least twenty of them would laugh and let you know that they aren’t willing to give up their weapon. Among union members....it’s probably closer to seventy-percent who own a weapon. So you can talk all you want for the special votes, but I doubt if anyone on the democratic side really wants to lost votes on this issue.
