Duterte: US and Australian Ambassadors should 'Shut Their Mouths'. Warns of Cutting Diplomatic Ties.

MANILA, Philippines – Trash-talking Philippine presidential favorite Rodrigo Duterte has warned he is prepared to cut diplomatic ties with the United States and Australia after their ambassadors criticized his joke about the jailhouse rape of a missionary.

Duterte also told the ambassadors to "shut their mouths," as controversy continued to rage over his comments in which he said he wanted to have been the first to rape the Australian woman who was brutalized and murdered in a 1989 prison riot.

"If I become president, go ahead and sever it (diplomatic ties)," Duterte, 71, said on the campaign trial on Wednesday night, April 20, referring to the relationships with the United States and Australia, two of the Philippines' closest allies.

Sounds like the pig is a Muslim. The southern part of the Philippines has Islamists. They put this pig in power, cut off trade with them too.

The US plans military bases on the Philippines and it is a key ally in controlling China.

Not a small matter.

This fellow seems to show Ferdinand Marcos as almost a nice guy, in comparison.

The Philippines is nearly a Muslim country already. It only takes about 10% of the population who consider themselves to be Muslim, for the demand to accept Shari’ah law to become overwhelming. And once the number exceeds 30%, any pretense of democracy, or voting rights, or freedom of any kind, just sort of has gone out the window.

No Muslim-dominant country may in any way be considered to be “free”. Not of religion, or speech, or association, or redress of grievances, and most especially, no right to keep and bear arms. Islamist states are even more repressive than Communist states, and for similar reasons - violation of the ideology underlying the basis for the government to assume control of the population is the most heinous crime of all.

Orthodoxy raised to the point of holy postulate.

Communism faltered (not failed, we still have Communists among us) because they did not tie a sufficiently ruthless religion to Communist ideology. Human secularism is a particularly feeble religion.

Islam has a very ruthless religion as part of their ideology.

Seems like he’d rather have Chinese relations.

I’d say the decision is already made.

After watching Bush/Clinton/Obama backstabbing allies left and right, I think many in the Philippines are wondering whether maintaining such a relationship with the corrupt United States is worth the cost.
