Cruz is mathematically eliminated from 1237 , he should do the right thing and drop out
If Trump is mathematically eliminated from 1237 before the Convention gets here, should he also do the right thing and drop out?
And Trump is a sure thing?
“Cruz is mathematically eliminated from 1237 , he should do the right thing and drop out.”
I disagree for two reasons. The first is Cruz is pushing Trump to work harder and get his ground game in order. Trump wasn’t working too hard until the Cruz ground game, as dirty as you may think it is kicked in. Then Trump picked it up.
The second reason is Trump needs to be battle tested in every state. He will have to go back there for the general and he needs his messaging honed.
Cruz staying in is the best thing that can happen to Trump. Trump wants the nomination so bad, he will fight Cruz tooth and nail to get to 1237. And if he doesn’t get there, don’t blame Cruz. Trump had every opportunity to take the delegates away from Cruz like Cruz is doing to Trump. That comes from experience, and Trump needs to get some and fast.
What happens if Kasich is still in the race and Trump still doesn't have the 1237, will he sue?
I'd prefer all candidates run to the end, including the others, who have suspended their candidacy. One of them was my first choice, but was not a candidate, when I got to vote.
I'll vote for Trump, if he is the nominee with a majority of delegate votes at the convention. The problem you have is trying to get someone with a plurality to be your nominee, before the vote of delegates even happens.
Yes and so should Kasich. Calls for Cruz to drop out will start shortly. The money is going to dry up soon.
