People on our side of the aisle love to just s*it on stuff like this because they think it is standing up for “American values”, but will feel sad when some old alcoholic country music singer from the 60s kicks the bucket.
It is so irritating. Those of us that grew up in the 80s loved his music. it was an iconic part of our youth.

Serious question from one came of age with the Beatles and the Stones, with a backdrop of Hank Williams and traditional Appalachian. What IS the attraction? I'm hearing " You could not classify him.." and references to androgyny.
