IMO, it did no such thing. It neither amended nor superseded any other Amendment, say the 13th, let alone the 4th/5th.
As it conflicts, it should be DOA...My $.02. But, thanks to envy/greed of voters (my relatives hadn’t even naturalized by then), their progeny are now *economic* slaves.
