When I read your post something came to mind. Back in the late 1970s I worked with a old Jewish guy who escaped Nazi Germany. He told me that the Gestapo troops would tell you to drop your pants right there on the sidewalk (If a male obviously) to see if you were circumcised. I guess we haven't changed that much.

Bathroom monitors isn’t the issue. The issue is that you are a radical homophobe if you dare to say that men should use male facilities and women should use women’s. Curt Schilling was fired for intolerance. How has the argument become so twisted that North Carolina is the subject of scorn for passing a common sense law? Alinsky would be proud.
