It's easier to come back from a nuclear strike than five decades of Democrat control of the government.

Amen

Who bombed Detroit?

If Obama makes an apology, he is setting himself up for destruction.

the bombs were dropped specifically to kill large numbers of people to begin the ending of a terrible war. The Japanese were intractable in their efforts to die for their Emperor. the bombs allowed 140,000 to do just that.

The naive boy in the White House is not America, and all know he does not represent the views of Americans. He is an idealist pacifist that has no grasp on history and the way men conduct their affairs to protect themselves from enemies intent on destruction

Questions for anti-nuke nuts.

Want to know why dropping the bombs was necessary?

How many nuclear bombs were dropped?

Why, if the bombs were so terrible, did it take two bombs before the Japanese quit?

Actually, the Japanese didn’t quit. The ruling members were split on the issue. The question was put to the emperor and he quit. Those opposed to quitting then resigned

Actually, those opposed to quitting attempted to mount a coup to override him.

“Remember when these were seen around town??”

Yep!

Remember crawling under your desk in elementary school during an air raid drill?

When I read a book or see a movie set in England during the Blitz I realize how soft and wimpish our society is now.
