It will be Kasich. Ohio EV's simply cannot be ignored.

We don't care much for him here, but his approval rating in Ohio is excellent, and he won his last election in a rout.

He also has the legislative experience Trump has said he wants.

Those people who voted for Kasich, they will not flip for Hillary, they will vote for the republican, and D Trump excites the populace to get to the polls.

Trump does not need Kasich to win Ohio.

I’m dense. Why is any single state, Ohio particularly, so key? I never have quite understood the deal about Ohio, but accept that it is some kind of given.

My other wondering is how much power does the GOPE still hold over TRUMP?

DJT has turned the GOPE practically into smoldering ash, with the help of the people, but these stinking delegates do serve as the GOPE tool to pressure TRUMP into some nasty VP pick that may restore them in four years, to business as usual.
