Trump has said that he wants an experienced legislative insider as Veep to help get legislation through. I personally believe that having someone like that as his Chief of Staff would be equally good, letting him pick a first-class executive for the Veep slot - because that’s the Veep’s only real job, to be a replacement President if the worst happens.
