I think Rubio is a very good speaker-articulate and intelligent. He’s young, qualified and energetic. He would soften the edges and be a compliment to Trump, which is what you need for a VP. Trump/Rubio great ticket!
One problem with Sessions is he lacks executive experience. He's a policy wonk and lawyer.
The local grassroots activists aren't likely to be looking at the big picture, and "every delegate counts."
Rubio carried the vote by a plurality in GA’s 6th Congressional District back in the March primary here. FWIW

I agree mostly with your well reasoned comments. When I first saw/heard Rubio I was extremely impressed, not so much now for obvious reasons.
Some of my family like Rubio, too. I’m mystified by it.
Trump will get anyone he wants and doesn’t need Rubes’s delegates.

Rubio is an empty suit and a prima dona who thought that he was too good to show up to the Senate. He's despised in his own state and would bring absolutely nothing to the table.
What Trump needs as a running mate is a policy wonk who knows the inside and out of the House or Senate from experience, but without a bloated ego of his own. The exact opposite of Rubio, in other words.
Even the dull Kasich would be a better pick.
Why??? I could never for the life of me understand all of the hype behind this guy and how he became the Golden Boy of the GOP. Reminds me of all the hype around another non-entity junior Senator, only from the Democratic Party, in the early 2000's.
i so wish i had bookmarked it.... sorry. it was one of the million 2ndDiv anti-Trump threads.. about two weeks ago i believe. i never posted on it .. i don’t recall any Trump supporters posting on it. it was all about how genius Cruz was strategizing with the RNC/GOP, maybe after the Colorado non-voting fiasco...
i just remember lmao over this Trump pigeon .. the visual was/is awesome..... The bird looks a little like Gen Patton to me.. snicker... and you know how hard it is to get off bird shit once it dries, it always leaves a mark....... chuckle..
