I can’t wait for the demise of brick and mortar universities and the end of all employment for so-called professors.
Someday all education will be certificate-based, like getting an MCSE, and all professors can get jobs sweeping floors, where they can finally be useful.
The teacher admits she is very emotional and doesn't not feel she is responsible enough around a weapon. Given that, no one else should either.
Following this logic. No one not even police should have a weapon.
Then she ends with a very emotional unstable statement:
"I wish the way forward was more black and white to me that I knew what to do in this situation. But I dont"
With any luck, you won't have any choice in the matter, bitch.
sorry, I said basically the same thing as you did.
And do notice the comments have been closed.
That only happens when the tide goes against our ‘keepers’.
The professor knows she's too nutty to be trusted with a gun, so she projects her violent impulses onto society in general.
(I had a psych class in college.)
“I also dont know if she understands emotions, or what real rage feels like. It seems to me no person who has truly experienced the full impact of their own emotions would ever go near a gun.”
It seems to me anyone who would say this is admitting they are unable to control themselves when they get emotional, and so this professor would be at high risk of doing something horribly violent, even without access to guns.
College Prof: I Cant Write Recommendations For Female People Who Like Other Female People.
ther fixed er
Maybe we should have two types of law enforcement. Police who don’t carry weapons, to protect people like this Professor - so she won’t be offended, and armed police for the rest of society.
can’t write recommendations for peopel who like guns aqnd will never ever kill anyone, but he probably wouldn’t have problems writing recommendations for aids carrying homosexuals who will infect and kill many partners over their lifetime (homosexuals have an average of 60+ partners in their lifetime with 100’s of ‘hookups’ in between partners)
She is probably some very lucky man’s ex-wife.
That’s why I sometimes say give the “professors” the party line. Get the degree. Then when the alumni association comes calling, tell them to **** off, and tell them why.
60 to 90 million Chinese died during the communist revolution. They died at the hands of the government. They died because they DID NOT HAVE GUNS!
Someone should inform that idiot professor that the educated were particularly singled out for execution. All possible areas of dissent against the communists in China were ended with a bullet.
The second amendment is not about hunting. It is about what happened in China, not happening here.
“It seems to me no person who has truly experienced the full impact of their own emotions would ever go near a gun.
It seems to me that anybody capable of such a correlation has no business instructing others.
Uh, the professor does sound like she has some unusual thinking processes going on in her head.
Rest assured, Sarah will never be made aware of the professor's true reasons for harming her.
My thoughts exactly.
That's very clear from the reference to the "well regulated militia", which phrase is used by some to argue rhetorically that individual rights are not meant to be addressed. Of course, the phrase "the people" is used in the concluding statement, which is the same phrase used in the First Amendment.
Even so, I have felt that the Framers did intend to legitimize organized militias by this amendment, and were just that far from questioning the individual right to ownership of firearms, since it was a commonplace then, and right through the 1960's, when you could still by a gun at a hardware store.
Certainly Article IX may be invoked, "Concerning Rights not Enumerated". Note that this was a significant part of the argument for abortion in Roe v. Wade
And how would this presumptuous, delusional twit know which of his students "like" guns?
I would hope that college age gun enthusiasts would have the smarts to keep their hobbies to themselves.
It is a safe assumption that ANY public college or university full of snowflakes and neurotics would be hell on gun owners.
Dressing and speaking should be moderated accordingly. Even among "friends." ALL friends.
This little tyrant wannabe, hasn't even the grace to tell us what she "teaches." Once identified, I would avoid her like the plague.
Words to the wise.
Time to identify this tender snowflake and what she teaches.
Obviously, civics or constitution is not likely her specialty.
Clearly, the teaching and learning experience is all about her phobias and psychological insecurities.
