Odder things have happened in establishing a Party ticket.
Cruz, if he had any real popular support would make a difference. But he’s a mirage propped up by #nevertrump and his defection is meaningless. Gimme Kasich and Rubio, let the so-called Cruz people go suck their thumbs. This is about winning and saving the country now., let them do what they will.
I’ll just stand back and watch the Republican party collapse under Mr. Trump. Won’t be pretty, but maybe this needed to happen get all the corrupt pols out of office that call themselves “conservatives”.

Trump said he’d pick someone with much experience, Rubio doesn’t have it.
I honestly don’t know what folks like these delegates/supporters think when they think you can just position someone based on “we think it will work” without really looking at and balancing the needs and issues.
All the Cruz people in Philly showed up at a rally, papers said 22 were present. So if they stay home so what.
I don’t know how many of Marcos he actually still controls, but I’d have no problem with him as VP. He’s saying enforcement only now on immigration.
He’d have to keep a tight reign on Marco, but I don’t think he could trust Cruz at all.

I’m afraid in TRUMP’s mind that this is no example of “excellence”, of having Rubio on his ticket. I’m afraid the GOPE are pushing this.
How about Walker? If it just must be decided around delegates to please the GOPE, Walker might work?
How else can TRUMP tempt the Establishment to pay any mind to the people’s vote, but to throw them a bone?

We’ll see. I haven’t seen any signs of it. Rubio is trying to hold his delegates so they’ll get behind a conservative, and he doesn’t view Trump as one. (Nor do I.)
