Morning Joe regulars know that Mika Brzezinski has made a virtual art form out of her facial expressions and body language. On today's show, Mika put on a particularly demonstrative display of horror while asserting what she sees as Ted Cruz's lack of appeal to women voters.
The question on the table had been Donald Trump's surprisingly strong showing among women in yesterday's New York Republican primary. The Donald scored 59% of women voters, almost equaling the 63% of men voters he garnered. Gene Robinson was stumped to explain it. When he posited Ted Cruz as the alternative to Trump, someone to whom voters would be expected to "flock," Mika broke in: "I don't think women are going to flock to Ted Cruz." Mika accompanied her comment with animated expressions, looking to the sky, taking a deep breath then sharing a horrified look with someone offstage to her right. And it reminds me of the true story from back in the day when Kissinger was Sec. of State. A reporter asked him “Dr. Kissinger, you’re not necessarily the world’s handsomest man, yet you’re constantly seen in the company of beautiful women. How do you explain it?”
Kissinger: “Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac!”
The media knows that favorability polls are absolutely and totally meaningless, they just won’t admit it because these polls give them something to talk about when there is absolutely nothing else to talk about. Especially guilty is CNN. Nation wide polls are similarly meaningless.
All women know about Teddy is that he's good at poaching
delegates......not exactly what women want in a president.

Also, hate that his wife says “she and Ted” are running for office, Shades of Hillary who advertised a “twofer”. There is ONLY one name on the ballot, lady!!!
A lot of women have been fundamentally reprogrammed. The female vote will go to the democrat in a landslide whoever the nominee is. Our hope is that enough men, plus the small balance of women who don’t trip over themselves to vote for Hillary are enough.

Considering 75% of them can’t stand Trump. I don’t think they’re gonna flock to him either.
I think so...
I used to think her and Morning Joe hated each other- or at least he hated her, because she was always talking directly to him or reaching out and touching him on air and he would be cringing and pulling away and barely looking at her.
But then someone told me he went out of his way to hire her and bring her on board.
So then I thought they were secretly doing each other and he was being purposefully inattentive on-air so as to not show the attraction between them
who knows...
