I have always taken that as Jesus’ saying the Church, the called out ones, would not go through the Great Tribulation. But we shall see, and soon. Maranatha!
The 'elect' are those delivered up for a testimony. Those that are the only ones that can committee the unpardonable sin. Who knows how many there are and who they actually are. People return to the Maker every day, but God knows who they are...
